Bethesda has stated numerous times that there would only be three sets of downloadable content for its smash-hit game of last year, Fallout 3. We've already seen and played Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt, and the third and supposedly final pack, called Broken Steel, hits the streets tomorrow, May 5th.

However, a post at Eurogamer tells a different tale. A U.S. retailer called eStarland has posted listings for two Fallout 3 DLC bundles. The first bundle is comprised of Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt while the second apparently contains Broken Steel and something called Point Look.

Bethesda has not commented on Point Look other than to say "there are no announced plans for additional DLC beyond Broken Steel." eStarland's official description of Point Look is "Information Not Available Yet for This Expansion."

Who do you believe? One thing's for sure. The phenomenal success of Fallout 3 across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC can only have Bethesda wondering how it can extract more mileage and money from the rabid player base.

Point Look, not Point Break -- damn. That's a great movie.

Bryn says: I think this is legit. I could only speculate as to what kind of content Point Look would add to the game, as Broken Steel essentially lifts the level cap at the end. Perhaps it'll be something completely mind-blowing like a rudimentary online play mode.

Better still, how about trading items with other real-life players in a busted-up shopping mall? Now I'm getting carried away. Still, if Point Look is anything like "Point Break" then we're all winners.
