A report via Reuters today suggests that fans of Bethesda's post-apocalyptic adventure Fallout 3 might only have to wait a few years before a potential sequel is launched. Speaking to Fallout 3's Executive Producer Todd Howard, it seems as though the 10-year wait between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 was "a bit too long."
"I think it's good for people to miss things," said Todd Howard, executive producer of the game. "Ten years between 'Fallout' is a bit long, but I think there's this nostalgia factor."

Fans of the post-Apocalyptic game, set in Washington, D.C., won't have to wait another decade for "Fallout 4." Howard said he believes three years is a good time frame between games.
Does this mean that we'll be seeing Fallout 4 in 2011? Anything is possible, and given the high-profile nature of the franchise, it's highly likely that plans for a fourth entry into the series are already well underway.
