A premium theme for Fallout 3 was announced today in a press release from Microsoft and Bethesda. The theme, available on October 1st, will be free for players who have bought all five pieces of DLC for Fallout 3. For those who didn't opt in on the extra content, the theme will still be available for 240 Microsoft Points ($3).

Tyler says: Too bad I stopped shy of buying the two last pieces of DLC for Fallout 3. I do think it's rad that Bethesda and Microsoft are giving a little back to players who supported the title post-launch, but it's not like the extra content was cheap. At $10 a pop, that's an additional $50 on top of the $60 price tag. Still, it's a cool gesture, I just wish it was free for more people (including myself).
