"Take-Two never paid 3DR advances or any signing bonus or any other funds related to DNF, up until July 2008, at which time they paid $2.5m in connection with another agreement for an unannounced game," added the company. "This is the sum total Take-Two has paid 3DR in connection with DNF."

Bryn says: I wonder just how far this train wreck will limp along before it finally derails and explodes? It's interesting to hear that 3D Realms isn't done and dusted at this point, and that the company intends to keep making Duke-related games. Note how it says it will "co-create" though.
As for Duke Nukem Forever, well, I still think it's completely hosed at this point.
