You have questions about Battlefield 3, and DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson has answers. In a recent interview, the designer sat down with our friends at IGN to talk 30 frames per second, Frostbite 2, and more.

Troedsson goes into detail about the give and take between refresh rate and the size and scope of online war, stating that Battlefield 3 strikes the perfect balance. It's an interesting conversation, highlighted by new clips of the game's multiplayer in action. See for yourself below:



Battlefield 3 is in development for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The beta is set for launch this month and the game will be released on October 25.


Spy Guy says: Goddamn, flying jets looks like it's going to be a blast, and it's nice to know soldiers on the ground will be able to paint targets for pilots in the sky. Hopefully DICE has a plan for the swarms of people sure to be lining airstrips in BF3 waiting for jets to respawn.
