And if all this footage has you jonesing to play Battlefield 3 for yourself, you're not alone. Perhaps that's why DICE announced on the official Battlefield Blog further details on the upcoming BF3 beta.

Those who will get in on the next testing phase purchased a new copy of Medal of Honor way back in October. The game included an invitation to the BF3 beta that requires setting up an account with EA. If you bought Medal of Honor and set up the account, you likely just received a newsletter from EA that says you are entitled to play the beta in September. Full details, including beta codes for eligible participants, have not been announced/released. If you do have an EA account and bought MoH but haven't received the newsletter, opt in to receive it through your EA profile.

Battlefield 3 is in development for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is scheduled for launch on October 25.

Sharkey says: I'd forgotten all about the Battlefield 3 beta promo included with Medal of Honor. Nice to know that rather vanilla shooter will provide such a big perk. Anyone here in on the alpha beta? What do you think of the game thus far?
