Electronic Arts closed its E3 2011 press conference today with an in-depth look at DICE's Battlefield 3, providing a lengthy look at one of the game's tank-centric levels while also announcing the shooter's open beta and official release date.

Sharkey says: The live demo at E3 was stunning. I'd love to know what kind of rig DICE was using to run it, because that's exactly how I want the game to look on my PC. I've got a feeling I'll have to do some serious upgrades to get there.
