May I Have the Envelope, Please

This is the part wherein I pass out the immaterial awards for meritorious or heinous conduct. I'm sure you are all used to the fact that I don't keep any sort of track of what really happened by now, so I'll dispense with that pretense. Without further lies designed to get you to not care about my shoddy scorekeeping, I give you the awards from our Halo 3 'Spy-Hunter #19:

Gabe's savior: Andorhal (almost, he saves me and then I die immediately afterwards)
Rocketman: OrdinaryFailure (how's the weather up there, dude?)
Deadly to teammates: GabeSpy (again, sorry Patrick!)
Valid vendetta: LIEKMUDKIPZ (I gun for you and you return the favor)
Two Chiefs, one rocket: Hi Im PimpYo (DOUBLEKILL!)
Knock off that annoying crap: LIEKMUDKIPZ (it's called "bomb carrying," not bomb-pick-up-drop-pick-up-drop-etc.)
Turnabout is fair play: DankBreath (guy stuck me in the chest, well done!)
Supreme Commander: KingTut33 (that's Will, our boss)
Most Shamefully Craven: GSI Sterling M

Please take a moment to mentally congratulate these fine (and not so fine) fellows on a job well done. They have all demonstrated particular valor on the digital battlefield and should be remembered in the annals of heroism. Thanks go to all for a good game.

Persistence in the Face of Extreme Negativity

As I stated earlier, we're trying to get some more variety into 'Spy-Hunter, so in honor of that we're going to kick off the first match of Season 2 on the PS3! I'm thinking we'll probably do a PC game after that (most likely Team Fortress 2, but perhaps Crysis if we're feeling super-ambitious), but since we started Season 1 on the 360, I feel that it's only fair that we act in the interest of the spirit of competition and give the PS3 the honor. We're going to be playing Unreal Tournament III and have already begun practicing a little, so you might want to get used to the freaky hoverboard beforehand. We'll be playing next Wednesday, January 16 at 4 p.m. PST, so if you would like to participate in these festivities, just keep reading because the instructions are coming up right now:

Shoot a friend request to one of the following GameSpy editors:

Gabe Graziani: GabeSpy
Sterling McGarvey: GSI_Sterling_M
Patrick Joynt: GSIJoynt
Will Tuttle: KingTut33

On game day sign on and look for the editor that you have befriended. Once you've got a bead on one of us, shoot us a message and we'll invite you to the game on a first come first served basis. Sound simple? It is… at least, for you anyway.
