When I first caught of glimpse of X-Men Legends at E3 2003, I knew it would be the game for me. I love the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance style of gameplay and I love comics. Since it combines the two, I knew X-Men Legends would be my video-game equivalent of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Playing the game for a bit at Comic Con 2004 only cemented the notion. Recently, I visited Activision for even more hands-on time with the game. And while it has some issues from a technical perspective, the basic gameplay -- especially the multiplayer -- is lots of fun and there are so many nice nods to comics fans that the flaws are more than excusable.
