Pipeworks Software, Inc. is based in Eugene, Oregon. Founded in November 1999, Pipeworks Software, Inc. is an independent studio focusing on development of entertainment software titles for major software publishers. The company is comprised of designers and programmers who worked on such high-profile games as "Tribes," "Pro Pilot," "Populous," "Aces," and "3D Ultra," "Front Page Sports," and "Coaster." The company first made headlines with its X-Box graphics demonstrations (Ping Pong, Desk Toys and Butterflies), which were first displayed at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, March 16, 2000.
