Seta Corporation

Founded on August 2, 1982, Seta developed software and hardware for major Japanese game publishers, such as Nintendo, Sega, Capcom and Sony. The company went public on October 1, 1985, and later became a subsidiary of Aruze. The studio closed in January of 2009.

Seta is primarily known for releasing numerous puzzle, golf and Mah-jongg titles for consoles and PC.
