The 9th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards results are in. VE3D supplies the long list of winners which covers a whopping 13 different categories. The overall Game of the Year was bestowed upon Bethesda's Fallout 3 which also picked up the award for Best Writing. The rest of the winners looked like this:

    Bryn says: Hey! They obviously cribbed from GameSpy's Game of the Year awards, where Fallout 3 beat out the rest of the competition too! I'd change a few things here though. The "Pioneer Award" would be renamed "The Two Dudes Most Likely to Sleep on Mattresses Stuffed with Diamonds Award" and the "Ambassador Award" would go to Will Tuttle of GameSpy for all his hard work, whiskey-drinking and bemoaning of the staff.
