The news comes from a forecast revision document that outlines the company's plans to have its titles span the 2010 fiscal year (from April 2010 to March 2011). Reasons for the delay include avoiding competition from the other early 2010 releases, "maximizing sales volume" of Capcom's titles, and as mentioned before, to spread Capcom's releases throughout the 2010 fiscal year.

Tyler says: With the first three months of next year looking like three back-to-back Novembers in terms of big game releases, I'd say Capcom made a smart move pushing its titles back. Although it does seem that something as popular as Super Street Fighter IV could be released just about any time of the year and still sell strongly.I was really looking forward to Lost Planet 2.
