Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that it will be releasing the second set of downloadable content for Wipeout Pure for the PlayStation Portable.
Called "Gamma Pack 2, this new download will give Wipeout fans two new tracks and two new skins for their vehicles. The tracks are called the Extostra Run and the Ubermall tracks while the skins are the Qirex and Aricom skins.
In addition to the "Gamma Pack 2," the first download, "Gamma Pack 1," which contains the Staten Park track, Tigron racer and Pirhana team skin, will also be re-released. It is recommended that the "Gamma Pack 1" be re-downloaded to remain consistent with the updates. It is not necessary to erase the previous build of the "Gamma Pack 1" from any memory cards -- it will be overwritten by the new version.
The downloads can be downloaded with the PSP's WiFi capabilities through the in-game menu, or can be downloaded through WipeoutPure.com and be transferred to the PSP through a USB cable.
The new content will be available starting Wednesday, June 22.
