Not too long ago, we brought you a preview of the Japanese version of Namco Museum. We profiled each of the seven classic Namco arcade games that it contained, as well as the four brand-new, graphically enhanced "arranged" versions of Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, and New Rally-X.

Now, 11 games might seem like a pretty good amount of games to feature in a classic game compilation, but Namco figured that it could do better for the U.S. release. In addition to all the games featured in the Japanese version, we'll be getting 10 more classic arcade games, practically doubling the number of titles in the Japanese version. Listed below are the extra titles that will be available.

Bonus Classics

Bosconian

This space shooter plays much like the Midway classic, Sinistar. You pilot a ship that can freely fly through a large section of space. Although there are many asteroids and mines floating about to dodge and enemy space ships to attack, your main targets are large, space stations scattered throughout the map. These green, hexagonal bases will counter attack with missiles, but you can destroy the structure by destroying all six corners of it or by launching a well-aimed shot into the station's core.

Dig Dug II

The last time that anyone really thought about Dig Dug II was back in 1989 when it was released on the NES. And to be honest, nobody really thought about it then. This sequel first came out in arcades in 1985, and it finds the titular hero no longer digging underground. Instead, he now fights his old enemies, the Pookas and Fygars on a series of islands. In addition to his regulation pump (for inflating and popping foes), he also has a drill that he can use to break off chunks of the islands, potentially wiping out many monsters at once.

Dragon Buster

Here's an early (circa 1984) side-scrolling action/adventure with a few very basic RPG elements. You are the heroic Clovis, on a quest through maze-like caverns to save Princess Celia from an evil dragon. Your main weapon is a sword, but you can also collect items that let you launch fireballs and well as temporarily enhance your sword's power (we told you the RPG bits were basic).
