Forget about the fact that Naughty Dog's Uncharted games are Sony-only properties for a minute, and concentrate on the fact that Naughty Dog's co-president Christophe Balestra believes that the new Uncharted 2 "would be impossible" to implement on the Xbox 360 hardware.

Ars Technica caught up with Balestra, who stroked the PlayStation 3 processing power and storage capacity while stepping all over the Xbox 360.
"I guarantee that this game couldn't be working on XBox 360. It would be impossible. I'm 100 percent sure of this." Christophe Balestra, co-president of Naughty Dog, spoke with Ars about the technology behind Uncharted 2, the hugely anticipated follow-up to one of the PS3's best games: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

"First of all, we fill the Blu-ray 100 percent, we have no room left on this one. We have 25GB of data; we're using every single bit of it."
Uncharted 2 is due to hit the streets of North America on October 13th and so far, the game's received a lot of positive press. Stay with us for the review closer to that date.

Bryn says: Balestra reckons that his team knows how to milk the PlayStation 3's Cell processor and SPUs better than most, so if he's right, we should see a substantial improvement over the first Uncharted title (which is still pretty impressive in my eyes).

I'm sure the majority of Xbox 360 owners couldn't give a monkey's about the power of the PlayStation 3, but for those of us that own both systems, it's nice to see developers really tapping into the potential of a console.
