Although there's no denying that it was the foot soldiers who decided the outcome of WWII, there were many instances in which just the simple appearance of a tank could turn the tides. Of course, most tanks did more than just appear, blasting their way through enemy soldiers, tanks, and even buildings. It wasn't just tanks, either, as WWII saw the introduction of a vehicle that's still being used today by soldiers and soccer moms alike: the Jeep. Today, we'll take a look at the vehicles that will cross your path in EA's new shooter, Medal of Honor European Assault.

1. Tiger Tank

When it was first introduced in 1942, the Tiger was the most powerful tank the world had ever seen, and while there was only one official production, many men in the field suggested modifications that were later implemented. The Tiger sported a powerful 88mm gun that was similar to the dreaded FLAK 88's, as well as two 10 cylinder, 15 liter Porsche Type 101/1 engines. Oddly, these engines didn't power the actual drivetrain, but instead powered two electric generators that, in turn, gave the drivetrain the power it needed. The Tiger was built to withstand heavy attacks, featuring 100mm armor on the front and 80mm on the sides and rear of the vehicle. It is said that in Normandy, a Tiger singlehandedly knocked out a column of 25 tanks, 14 half-tracks, and 14 brn-gun carriers in a single engagement!
