TK

1978

TK came to New York City from out West. Home was way too slow and too dull to hold him. He loves cars, girls, risks, music and speed. He hates people who can't take a joke. He's fearless, optimistic, loyal, and rock-steady with a sense of humor that gets him into trouble and a grin that gets him out. At 18 years old, he chose New York to make his fortune using the one marketable skill he's got - driving. When he first arrived, he stayed with Ray in the apartment above the repair shop. He got work fast - some from friends, low-grade snoops, peddlers, bail bondsmen and villains on the up. The work took him across the City which, within a few weeks, he knew like the dash of the car back home he learned to drive in. He didn't mind working as long as it involved driving, money and no unnecessary violence. TK made friends very easily and liked to talk about all the things that made his new home great. It didn't take him long to get his own apartment and his first hard-core driving gigs: Slink gave him a few test jobs and he did well enough to get more. He's fun to be with, optimistic and packed full of ambition.

2006

After 28 years inside, TK's lost the cute good looks. He's kept fit - and has filled out with muscle. He's still a damn good driver and now he's an athlete too. The world's changed, and it takes a little getting used to - new buildings, clean city on the surface - but underneath, TK still knows how to operate, what people to see and how to get things done. He's still got the one-liners - but now they're darker, harder-edged. He's a man driven by the intense desire for revenge who has learned to be quiet and await his moment. With or without the help of anyone else, he will get what he wants. Nothing can get between him and his revenge; he's spent 28 years preparing for it.
