Introduction

Mario and Luigi have returned for another RPG, only this time they're not alone. A rip in the space-time continuum has allowed Mario and Luigi to team up with infant versions of themselves! With the patented timed attacks of past Mario RPG's still intact, the action has never been more frantic.

With Princess Peach in the custody of the evil Shroob race, it is up to you to lead Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi on a quest to find all of the pieces of the shattered Cobalt Crystal and then rescue her. Wait, the Princess needs help? Of course she does, this is a Mario game! You're going to need some help, too, to conquer this massive and tricky RPG and that is why IGN Guides is here. Think of us like an even smaller baby on Baby Mario's shoulder; always ready to help out in a pinch.

Look inside the guide for:

  • Basics: A detailed overview on how to control your team, maximize your power, and keep yourself from getting KO'd.
  • Items: Everything you need to know about items, equipment and how to best use them.
  • Walkthrough: A step-by-step account of how to beat the game.
  • Secrets and Beans: Read here to learn all about Beans.

Baby Erik has saved the day countless times -- probably even more times than Baby Mario.
