  • The rich storyline revolve around an artifact called the Mask of Chaos, which is said to endow its wearer with great power. Years earlier, while following a map found on the inside of the mask, Layton's childhood friend Randall disappeared. It's up to Layton to solve the mystery behind these bizarre developments.
  • In addition to Layton, his assistant Emmy and trusty apprentice Luke, players will encounter a cast of entertaining characters from Layton's school days.
