Introduction

The Crimeans are a country that has made efforts to become friendlier and aligned with the Sub-Humans (or Laguz) of the world, but it is a sentiment shared by few on the entire continent (the non-noble class of Crimea included). However, it still comes as a shock when the Daein come flowing like a river of evil into Crimea, destroying the dirty friends of Sub-Humans, with the people cooperating with the invaders. Only one band of Mercenaries, the Greil Mercenaries, seem willing to stand up to the Daein soldiers, working for a never before mentioned Princess. This simple act will send Ike (son of Greil) into a year long odyssey, learning new and unbelievable things about himself, his family, and the world!
