Case ICA-2024-04: Appeal lodged on behalf of TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team against Decision No. 31 dated 13 April 2024 of the Stewards of the Round 6 held in Misano counting towards the 2023/2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

On 13 April 2024, during Round 6 of the 2023/2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship held in Misano (Italy), the Stewards received a report from the FIA Technical Delegate about Car No. 13 driven by Antonio Felix Da Costa (TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team). According to this report, the Throttle Damper Spring mounted on his car was not found in conformity with one of the three optional items. The Stewards therefore decided to disqualify Car No. 13 from the Race on the basis that it represented a breach of Article 27.10 of the Sporting Regulations and Article 3.3 of the Technical Regulations.

On 17 April 2024, the Appellant lodged an appeal against the Stewards’ Decision before the ICA.

Decision of the International Court of Appeal

The International Court of Appeal was presided over by Mr Laurent ANSELMI (Monaco), and included, Mr Michael GRECH (Malta), Mr Marek MALECKI (Poland) and Mr Filippo MARCHINO (USA/Italy).
