Sean lives with his wife Justine and their family in the Kingsway area of Etobicoke. Sean has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Much of Sean’s previous 25-year career was not spent in real estate but rather in executive level positions in the marketing and digital media space, where he delivered outstanding business results for leading Canadian companies. ABBA Voyage is a virtual concert residency by the Swedish pop group ABBA. The concerts feature virtual avatars (dubbed ‘ABBAtars’), depicting the group as they appeared in 1979, and use vocals re-recorded by the group in a Swedish studio specifically for this show, accompanied by a 10 piece live instrumental band on stage.

The concerts are held in ABBA Arena, a purpose-built venue in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. It’s a bit of a hike, but boy oh boy, is it ever worth it!!

You cannot actually believe that who you are seeing perform are holograms and not live ABBA band members. The music, the sound, the lights, the lasers, the mirrors-the entire experience is electrifying and 💯 fun!! Is this the future of music? Perhaps.

Sean and I just attended Evensong, a beautiful choir service at Westminster Abbey. We actually sat amongst the choir made up of men and young boys in the spectacular Quire section of the church.

Between the acoustics of the 1000 year old church (it’s been the church of the royal family since 1066) and the incredible vocal training, we were overwhelmed.

Back to the polar vortex (🥶) in Canada next week, ready to buy and sell real estate. Our European vacation has been the ultimate reset and we will be ready and raring to go!

Every year, one of my besties treats me to a day at the @agotoronto to celebrate my upcoming birthday. It’s turned into one of my favourite holiday/birthday traditions!

This year we loved the Pacita Abad exhibit in so many ways. Learning about Pacita’s technique and love of all things colourful was fascinating. Both the scale and intricacy of her work made my head spin! We always enjoy our lunch at the gallery and then one of my favourite parts is the day…shopping at the AGO gift shop! They have the most interesting books and gifts at every price point.

Have you been to the AGO lately? A friendly tip…go when the gallery opens at 10:30am in order to experience it without a ton of people.

Ohhhhhhhh, how I adore Christmas ornaments, old and new! Every year I add a few more to our collection (Hello, Iris 👋). There are ornaments on our tree from when Sean and I were children, to ornaments we purchased when our kids were little. There are ornaments gifted to us by friends and family over the years. I know where each and every ornament came from and they all tell a story. All ornaments must “make” it to the tree, which increasingly gets more and more difficult the more our collection grows!
