A Cute Zombie Pirate Ship, Lego MOC

A Cute Zombie Pirate Ship, Lego MOC

Every pirate captain needs a ship, even undead ones. This cute “Zombie Pirate Ship” is the creation of Lego 7. A tiny personal pirate ship that has been converted for land based travel. This mini build has a lot of features packed in. Besides the wheels, there are mini cannons, a mast and crows nest, the required pirate flag, and even a little captains quarters. A few fun Lego parts you can find in this build include a broom stick, the clips being used for a rudder, and the Minifigure pail/bucket used for the crows nest. Even the sails are brick built. Don’t tell the zombie captain but his ship wheel probably doesn’t turn so well…

In A Tiny Galaxy Far, Far Away – Microscale Lego Star Wars

In A Tiny Galaxy Far, Far Away - Microscale Lego Star Wars, Episode IV - A New Hope

These microscale Lego Star Wars models are the work of Rod Gillies. You cannot get much smaller than this. Each tiny model features a vehicle or two in its iconic setting. Most of these vignettes have been built off of a 4×6 grid, with a few exceptions going up to 6×6 studs. Microscale is an interesting challenge, you need to include just enough detail to get an impression while building as small as possible. These three sets are each based off of the original trilogy. The sets from A New Hope feature the Sandcrawler, Millennium Falcon, and a X-Wing and Tie Fighter. The little radar dish on the Falcon and the tiny s-foils on the X-Wing are especially well done. The sets from The Empire Strikes Back feature an AT-AT Walker, Luke’s X-Wing and Yoda’s Hut, and the Cloud City of Bespin. The X-Wing being sunken into the swamp is a great effect, as are the sunset stained clouds on Bespin. Finally, the three sets from Return of the Jedi feature Jabba’s Sail Barge, the Imperial Shuttle, and another Millennium Falcon. The tiny Sarlacc pit, and the pipes from the Death Star are a couple of the stand out details.

A Tiny Charming Lego Village In A Jar

Lego Village In A Jar

This is a Lego Village-In-A-Jar or is it a Bottle? A whole European style village is built inside this small jar. There is even a river and bridge. Plus rolling green hills and red roofs. This very charming village is the creation of AvengeTheMollusc. There are even plans in the future to add some trees, as soon as the correct pieces can be found. This is a great example of finding alternative ways to display awesome Lego MOC work.

Han Solo’s Blaster – A Lego Star Wars Mini MOC

Obedient Machine's Han Solo's Blaster, A Lego Star Wars Mini MOC

Being an infamous scoundrel means that Han Solo has be able to fight (or talk) his way out of any situation. That’s why it is an absolute must to carry a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. Easy to hide, but still deadly in a firefight. This version of Han Solo’s Blaster is a great mini build. The whole gun is built using just 15, or so, Lego pieces. Including a brown carrot, which might just be the most ingenious use for it yet.

Look At These Tiny Lego Robots!

FLAVIO'S Tiny Lego Robots, WIFFY: Rotary Saw

Look at these tiny Lego robots. They look so cute, you almost want to give them a hug (watch out for the chainsaw arms!). These WIFFY robots are the creation of Flickr user F L A V I O. They look like they belong in a Mega Man video game. And, could fit in with the Tachikoma walker/robots from the Ghost in the Shell universe. In which case lets hope they never learn to revolt and overthrow their human masters. Their cuteness could kill us all.

Despicable Me Mini Minion

MaxPointner's Lego Despicable Me Mini Minion

There are many Lego Despicable Me Minions out there. Currently one of the most popular themes in Lego. Just like in the film, these Minions come in all shapes and sizes. The Mini Minion is one of the tiniest ones out there. Yet it manages to preserve the character and personality that these little creatures possess. Created with just six Lego pieces, you would be hard pressed to use less. A clip, hat, two hands, a Lego head, and binoculars (plus some string) is all you need.
