Mitch Evans will be looking for back-to-back Formula E victories this weekend in Berlin. The Jaguar TCS driver won last time out in Monaco and has given his verdict on where the victory ranks amongst the best of his career. He has also revealed which city he would like to see added to the calendar and what makes the all-electric category so challenging for drivers.

'That would be epic!' - Evans on dream race to add to FE calendar and favourite tracks

Mitch Evans has picked out which city he would love to see added to the Formula E calendar for an “epic” race, as well as his favourite career win so far.
The Jaguar TCS driver is currently fifth in the standings ahead of this week’s Berlin E-Prix, which is live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
He won last time out in Monaco and says that is his favourite circuit, but would like to see his home country of New Zealand added to the schedule.
“The race I would love to add to the calendar is Auckland, New Zealand, or another big city in the States, but I would love to have a home race,” he said.
“A night race in the city centre of Auckland would be epic.”
Evans has won four races in each of the last two Formula E seasons.
But he picks out his recent Monaco victory and his first-ever Formula E win in 2019 as two of his most memorable races.
“I have been fortunate to have some really good races in Formula E, starting with my first race win in Rome.
“My last win in Monaco was very special as well. It’s hard to choose one because any win is special, but to finally get the one in Monaco will probably take the top step.
“My first win in Rome was also extra special to finally get the monkey off the back.”
Evans is 25 points behind current championship leader Pascal Wehrlein ahead of the Berlin E-Prix.
He says he is hoping to carry his positive momentum from Monaco into the race in the German capital.
“Off the back of any good result you come in with a spring in your step,” he said.

“We also won here last year in Berlin so I feel all the feelings are quite positive, good momentum, and hopefully, we can continue that this weekend and for the rest of the season.”
Evans, 29, has been racing in Formula E since 2016.
Asked what it is that makes the all-electric category so challenging compared to more traditional motorsport racing, he said: “The most difficult thing about Formula E, it is a race car and has all the traditional parts to a racing car, but we have this extra element from the battery and how we regen the energy, so it has a slightly different feeling under brakes but also the way you get the most out of it from a technical and software point of view it adds an extra element of complexity to it.
“Also the racing style in terms of the energy management is very unique to motorsport so when you combine a few of those factors it becomes a really tricky category, and obviously, the nature of our tracks, mainly street tracks, that always add an extra element of difficulty to it.
“Ultimately, it’s just a really, difficult, competitive category and to get it right on the day is extremely difficult, but also extremely rewarding when you get it done right.”
