WILL CITY BE READY FOR ARSENAL ON SUNDAY?
The TNT Sports pundits wonder what effect a tough battle with Inter in the UEFA Champions League will have on the joust with Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday. Of course, Arsenal visit Europea League winners Atalanta in their tournament opener on Thursday night.
"They're the two best teams in the league, but City are favourites. City are a team who know how to get things done, but Arsenal have shown they are a dangerous opponent," said Rio Ferdinand. "Arsenal have shown they can win multiple ways, and they have the best back four in the league. Which is a great platform to start from."

VIDEO: MANCHESTER CITY HELD BY STOUT INTER SIDE IN OPENER
Internazionale produced a superb rearguard display as they claimed a goalless draw at Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League opener. In a repeat of the 2023 final, both sides struggled to create chances. Inter had the best moments on the counter-attack in the opening hour before City upped the tempo and went close through Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan, but the game ended in a draw. Read more here

GUARDIOLA: MY CITY ARE A FANTASTIC TEAM
The Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola put a brave face on the 0-0 UEFA Champions League draw with an uncompromising Inter Milan side at the Etihad by declaring his love for the Premier League champions.
"It was so good. I love my team," said Guardiola on TNT Sports. "Inter are masters of defending. I liked everything about my team. With a little bit more time, we'll be better. Rodri was really good."
Guardiola said he will speak to the club doctor to check on the condition of Kevin De Bruyne, who was forced to depart the action at half-time with an injury.

RODGERS PROUD OF 'HUNGER' IN CELTIC PERFORMANCE
The Glasgow club's manager Brendan Rodgers has been speaking to TNT Sports about his team's 5-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the UEFA Champions League at Celtic Park. "The greed and hunger of the players in the second half. The press, the counter pressing. Just the mentality of the team. I was so proud, and the quality of the goals was sensational."

DIAS READY FOR ARSENAL CHALLENGE
Manchester City defender Ruben Dias will turn his attention quickly to the Premier League visit of title rivals Arsenal on Sunday after a 0-0 draw with a stubborn Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League. "We'll take the rest we need," said Dias on TNT Sports. "We know Arsenal very well, they know us very well. It's going to be a very intense game. It is still early stages, but is never too early to play a clash like this. So we'll be ready."

It is the first time they have won their opening game in the tournament. And the first time they have scored five in the UEFA Champions League since they defeated Juventus 4-3 at Celtic Park in 2001. Adam Idah enjoyed his camero performance off the bench. And the finish was also a thing of beauty.
