New Quay To Aberaeron Walk

Always on the look out for mini adventures with the children, we decided that even though the weather looked a bit iffy (like 80% chance of rain at lunch time) we would go for a nice long walk.

The route to Aberaeron from where we were staying in New Quay looked nice and we knew we could get a bus easily back at the end of it.

Lockdown Walks

We've not left the smallholding much over the last 6 weeks.

But the last few weeks we've started to take a few more walks into the surrounding countryside to learn the local footpaths a bit better.

Very Wet Scout Walk & A Troll!

Four Mondays ago, before all this mess, we took our group of Beavers, young scouts between the age of 6 and 8, for a walk to the top of one of the local hills.

The weather was horrendous. Perfect for a Scout walk in my mind. I always think its pointless if you go when you would on a family walk anyway.

Walking For Pleasure

My new mens ski Jacket ready for winter walking on the hills

I'm only 35 but already I can start to feel aches and pains more. There have also been a couple of instances that have really slowed me up and made me think.
