They have been camping together since first grade when they become Bluebirds, Camping is a way to escape from the city and just relax, Carla Bennett said, Their skills Grange from cooking anion open fire with no utensils to building a table between two trees with tree limbs. They do this at day camp at Gatewood every summer. They also spend most of their time at a camp in Palestine being Wranglers and teaching ar- chery to younger members. Traveling is one of the girls' favorite activities. They have been from Colorado to Big Bend and are going to Grand Canyon in June.
