Hello everyone, it's Melinda with you today and for the first time ever... and I really mean ever, I get to do a Halloween layout using an actual Halloween photo. You see, living on a farm in Australia which doesn't officially celebrate the Halloween holiday, we don't do anything for Oct 31. That was until my teenager and her friends decided they would dress up and have a bit of fun, much to my delight.
I was super excited to get my hands on the Boos & Brews collection this year as I had something to scrap. Albeit, a skeleton face, but hey, who's complaining. I chose to do the photo in black and white so it really stood out from the traditional colours of the collection.
I was Very relieved to have found some white letters in my Doodlebug rub-on collection. I don't know where I would be without them for journaling, especially on black. I also decided that I couldn't go past doing a small amount of collage work on the layout so chose to map out the letters of the word 'eek'. Which fitted perfectly with the picture of my daughter's face.
Just look at the cute little Doodle-Pop spider. There are actually four little Doodle-Pops in this one packet including two wee spiders and the little froggy I used inside the word 'eek' and a fun little bat. I didn't have room for him this time but he will be on a card very soon.
And if you are wondering which paper I have used, it's from the brand new Petite Prints collection and this side is called 'Linen' which is my absolute new favourite.
I just love the new paint splat shapes in this collection so had to use as many as I could fit within the lettering.
So that's it for our Boos & Brews inspiration. We hope you have enjoyed all the wonderful projects from the design team and look forward to spying your work around social media in the near future. Halloween is not that far away so good luck working on those costumes!

Boos & Brews Collection: Potion Bottle Set by Corri
Hi everyone! Corri here today sharing a cute project using the fun new Boos and Brews Collection. Doodlebug Designs always puts out the most adorable Halloween collections. For my project today, I made a card and treat box. I was inspired by all the fun labels on the Bottles & Brews Pattern paper sheet.
Here my set:
To create my card, I layered some of the die cuts from the Odds & Ends pack. I trimmed the sentiment strip from the 6" x 6" paper pad.
How cute is this little "mad" scientist?
For the treat box, I found this 3d Halloween Bottle in the Silhouette Store. I trimmed a label from the 12 x 12 sheet and added a tag from the Labels and Tags bag and an adorble bat Doodle Pop.
I hope you enjoyed this Halloween project. Check out the complete Boos & Brew Collection here.

Boos & Brews Collection: Dressing Up Layout by Kathy
Hi Everyone! It's Kathy today with a layout using the ADORABLE Boos & Brews Collection. Doodlebug always knocks it out of the park with Halloween collections, and this one does not disappoint! I used it to scrap these fun pictures of my daughter and her friend who dressed up as Russell from Up! for Senior dress up day last year. Take a peek...
I love all the patterns and prints in the collection and thought it would be fun to showcase them in a grid format.
Seriously, only Doodlebug could make a spider cute and appealing. I really loved the Spooky Spider Shape Sprinkles and sprinkled them liberally over my layout! I also loved the little bat from the Cute Critters Mini Doodlepops!
My favorite new character is Ribbit the frog... so stinking cute! It was also fun to use the Stars and Moons Cute Clips, they add the perfect little touch!
And of course, I HAD to use the cute little kitty sticker from the Icons Stickers... He looks so sweet peeking out of the frame that was in the Odds & Ends. I hope you've enjoyed the Boos and Brews inspiration these last couple of weeks, keep coming by to see some more!

Boos & Brews Collection: Spooky Cards by Christine
Halloween is one of my favorite crafty seasons of the year so I am always excited to play with everything and make cards, home decor, and of course layouts! Christine joining you today and I have a trio of cards to share with you that I created using the Boos and Brews Collection!
How fun is that mad scientist!?! This paper actually originally said "I'm mad about Candy" but I changed it to say you so it would work for a card. Although, in most cases, both are probably true!
I used the splatters from the Odds & Ends to be my base for the word "you" and outlined those in black to make them pop a little more.
"May I be Frank" just made me giggle so I knew it had to go on a card! Doodlebug rocks punny phrases and words in every collection!
The Eerie Eyes Shape Sprinkles are the best embellishment....grab them while you can and up the fun factor on your projects! I used them throughout my cards!
I'm loving the Cute Clips in the Doodlebug's Collections as well. They make such a nice accent and the shapes are so clever!
For this card I did layers of the patterned paper and then added the monsters. The mummy is a Doodle-Pop and the others are from the Icons Sticker Sheet.
The Monster Mash label actually comes from a patterned paper in the collection. That paper is covered with all kinds of labels perfect for embellishing or adding labels to your own spooky brews!
Don't miss out on this fun collection...there's bits and pieces for everyone in it!

Boos & Brews Collection: Bootiful Cards by Courtney
Hello! This is Courtney Lee from Court's Crafts here with my trio of Boos and Brews cuties!
May I be Frank? I'm Mad about You.
Sooo, this card... haha. There is a lot of "Courtney Crazy" going on here. I loved the "May I be Frank?" phrase from the 6x6 paper pad.. and then I fell in love with the mad scientist and saw the phrase "Mad About You" and I knew I had to add an "I'm" in between and make it a complete phrase. :)
Look at that adorable man!?! And I admit.. I'm a little obsessed with this "caution" washi tape. It made it onto two of these three cards! I grabbed the spider web paper from the border strips patterned paper and added the awesome spider shape sprinkles. How did doodlebug manage to get me to like spiders!?! They are SOOO cute!
Those eyes... get it!? I put it over the "I"... ;) I think I may be the only person cheesy enough to get all the detail. haha.

Have a Boo-tiful Day
I love this little mummy. My husband and I are so cheesy. We love those movies. So this little guy just had to make it onto my card.
The splats and the photo frame all came from the Odds and Ends and of course I had to tuck another one of those star cute clips in there. I am totally obsessed with cute clips - almost as obsessed as I am with doodle-pops!
I finished it off by anchoring it with some slime washi tape. Isn't that stuff awesome!?! (And note two of the other washi tapes from this collection in the background.)

Hi Pumpkin!
Last but certainly not least is this little cutie. How cute is that splat paper!?! It just screams, "celebrate!"
I "distressed" the green layer and loved that the orange was on the back to come through. My husband asked me, "did you know the paper was ripped!?" haha. Apparently I didn't do enough of it so that he knew it was on purpose but it fit my fancy. :) Look at that adorable pumpkin cute clip!!!!!
Oh pumpkin mini doodle-pops, how I love thee. I mean look at them!!!! The "Hi Pumpkin!" phrase also came from the 6x6 paper pad. (LOVING that feature they added this year!!!) and I tucked some green scallop fancy frills from the This and That bottom left and top right. You can barely see them but it adds just a little umph.
I added some ribbon with those silver sparkle polka dots from May Arts ribbon on them and after it was all done I didn't like how sharp the edges looked on the front panel so I just took scissors to them and imperfectly cut the corners off. It was one of those hilariously impulsive decisions that I totally love.

doodlebug: boos and brews: cute clips: pumpkins (5348)

doodlebug: boos and brews: this and that (5359)
May I be Frank? I'm mad about Boos and Brews. Grab some for your Halloween cards and Pumpkin, I hope you have a Boo-tiful day. ;) (I told you I'm cheesy!!!)

Boos & Brews Collection: Valley Girl Layout by Mendi
Hello Doodlebugs! It's Mendi here today and I'm so excited to be sharing some ideas using one of my favorite Doodlebug collections for Halloween yet called Boos & Brews. I don't know how they do it, but Doodlebug manages to top themselves year after year!
I love how this collection includes the aqua and I knew I had another set of photos from a past Halloween just waiting for the right collection. To help make it a perfect match I also mixed in some of the new petite prints in bubblegum to pick up the hot pink in my daughter's costume.
As a way to include lots of the fun embellishments from the collection I decided to create a circle border down the left side of my layout. It gives my page the pop of color I was after and also grounds each of the stickers, die-cuts and sprinkles.
I wanted to stitch around each of my circles, but I knew it might be hard to maneuver my page around the arm of my machine once they were adhered so I chose to stitch and then adhere them. As I was creating I discovered the new eerie eyes shape sprinkles looked super cute layered over eyes of the critter stickers and die-cuts to add another layer of dimension.
I finished off my layout with a custom title die-cut on my Silhouette and paired with my favorite Love Letter Alphabet stickers. I hope I've inspired you when scrapbooking girls at Halloween and making a collection work for you when you don't have just the right colors to match your costumes.

Boos & Brews Collection: October 31st Layout by Monique
Hello Doodlebug fans!! It's Monique on the blog today sharing my projects with the new "Boos & Brews" collection. I adore this new Doodlebug collection and couldn't wait to play with it! Normally I don't have a lot of Halloween photos as we don't really celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands, but last year my daughter and her partner went to a Halloween party and I quickly took my chance and shot a few photos! And here's what I did with them:
The journaling was typed in Word first and then printed straight onto the tag. To get this done, I first printed the text on a normal white printing sheet, then adhered the tag on top of this with a bit of Scotch tape and fed it into the printer once again.
I adore the little Doodle-Pops like this little frog and the purple bat in the photo above.
And how about the mad scientist die-cut from the Odds & Ends package?! Isn't he adorable!! There are so many awesome embellishments in this collection, I could go on and on ... that spider Sprinkle for example, normally I don't like spiders but this one I love!
Supplies: Boos & Brews collection: Patterned Paper: Weird Science, Trick or Treat Stripe, Bubbling Brew; Die-Cuts: Odds & Ends; Sprinkles: Halloween Assortment Matte Sprinkles, Spooky Spiders, Eerie Eyes; Mini Doodle-Pops: Cute Critters; Labels & Tags; Petite Print Assortment.
And because I desperately wanted to play more with this collection and everything was still lying on my table I decorated a new month for my birthday calendar, using the "Daily Doodles" collection: here's the October page!
I printed a few photos to add to the page, but not too many as I wanted to use as many stickers, die-cuts, doodle-pops and sprinkles as possible!! One of my favorite die-cuts is this haunted house with all the eerie eyes!
Have you seen the fun "eerie eyes" Sprinkles? I just love those!! The little ghost looked cute with his "normal" eyes, but with the fun googly eyes he's even cuter!
I always love Doodlebug's washi tapes and this collection contains five different tapes!! I think that my favorite is this one, the "radioactive" washi tape!!
Supplies: Boos & Brews collection: Patterned Paper: Bubbling Brew, Daily Doodles; Die-Cuts: Odds & Ends; Washi Tape: Radioactive; Sprinkles: Halloween Assortment Matte Sprinkles, Spooky Spiders, Eerie Eyes; Stickers: Icons, This & That, Daily Doodles Lily White Months; Labels & Tags.
I hope you enjoyed my projects, I had a lot of fun creating them!
Thank you so much for stopping by our blog! Wishing you a wonderful and creative day!
xoxo

I love to combine patterned papers, but I always need a more "subdued" pattern as a base and that's when the "petite prints" collections come in handy! In this case I used a "tangerine" color from the "Boos & Brews Petite Print" assortment to mat the "Weird Science" (black) paper.
