Cadiz is enjoying rapid growth in cruise traffic and has recently opened two passenger terminals. Cruise traffic through the port of Cadiz has tripled since 1996 and currently the port attracts around 300 calls throughout the year. This makes it the first largest cruise port in Andalusia and the fifth in Spain. The cruises dock in the heart of the city, an ideal place for passengers wishing to visit the historic town.
Perfectly situated between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic oceans, Cadiz also enjoys being connected to northern European ports, especially the UK and Germany, Lisbon, as well as the Canary Islands, Madeira, Portimao, Gibraltar, Malaga, Valencia and Barcelona. It is also close to Casablanca, Agadir, Tangiers and other areas of North Africa. Cadiz is a consolidated and excellent sailing point for the Caribbean, as well as for the United States and South America.
The Port of the Bay of Cadiz is located at 36 degrees latitude, 32 minutes to the north and 6 degrees longitude, 17 minutes to the west.

The port of Cadiz has 2,000 metres of quay for berthing cruise ships of up to 11.5 draft and two cruise terminals. The passenger terminals also offer facilities for passengers in the event of a change of course, and have hotels and all other facilities adjacent to the port area.
