HUGS 4 U!

Hello everyone! I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend! Can't believe we will have to start ALL over again tomorrow! I wanted to share a quick card I made for all my blogging friends tonight! I actually used the Cricut Design Studio this time because, like I said before, the Gypsy does NOT have the Hide Contour feature yet! I wanted to use my Peachy Keen Face Parts stamps for my furry bear's beautiful face! I love this feature because you can make any image you like in a black out feature so you can use the face stamps! For my card I used my new favorite paper from Sassafras called "Nerdy Bird" these were actually the stickers that went w/the set! The "Hugs" stamp is from My Pink Stampers stamp set called "Simply Sweet Occasions" & the chipboard number is from "Cosmo Cricket". The bear was cut out using A Child's Year cart & I used used some stampin flock from stampin up for her fur! I just wanted to show my appreciation for everybody who visits my blog & for all the sweet comments you leave for me! So I wanted to give everybody "Big Hugs 4 U" & I will have something special coming up this week! I am so excited! I'll keep you posted!
Thanks for visiting & have a great night!

SMILE! It's Friday!!:)

Good Morning all of my special blogging friends!! I made this quick card this morning because this is exactly how I'm feeling today! This week felt like the longest week EVER & I woke up this morning w/ a HUGE smile on my face because Friday is finally here!
Okay everybody, are you sitting down? I wanted to let you know that this card was made "BY HAND"! I mean, No Stamping, No Cricut cutting, No Gypsy!! GASP....sigh... can you believe it?? When my package came from Two Peas & when I saw everything, I wanted to try & do something like it used to get done before all of this fun technology came out! When I first saw this paper, I was in love! It has got to be the CUTEST ever! It is from "Sassafras" called Nerdy Bird:) I even got the matching stickers for it! As soon I saw it, I knew I could throw a quick & CUTE card together in no time! & here's what I came up with!! I do have to admit that the only "TOOL" I used was my corner rounder punch & I added that cute ribbon & button from PTI! I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed creating it! Have a WONDERFUL Friday everyone & stay tuned in for something "Special" I have in store for ALL OF YOU!!! Thanks for visiting!:)

I am soooo proud of my very 1st Easter card this year!!! Isn't she sooo pretty? I was playing around w/my Gypsy lastnight & since I don't have the new Easter Cart yet, I was searching for an egg! I am soo happy that I landed up did finding one on the Doodlecharms cart! So I designed this egg shaped card & I was also excited to receive my order yesterday from Papertrey & that's where that cute easter paper is from! Now for my beautiful bunny, I actually used my Cricut Design Studio for her because the gypsy does not have the feature yet to cut a regular item out on Blackout! She is from the Everyday Paper Doll cart & I wanted to use this feature because I really HAD to play with my new "Everyday Character Face Parts"~ Peachy Keens newest release! I Don't Do Mornings w/o my Coffee!

Thanks for stopping by my blogging friends! It is 11:30pm & I was supposed to be going to bed an hour ago, then I had a vision!!! This card was inspired to me by My Pink Stampers card that she made for her video tonight! She made hers w/pretty BRIGHT colors so I thought I would make a quick card using a new stamp set I picked up @ Joann's last weekend called "Coffee Cafe" by TPC Studio! Being that I do LOVE coffee, I thought this was such a cute set that I had to have it, especially since it was on sale 40% off!!! Those cute little hearts stamp is from My Pink Stamper's set called "Simply Sweet Occasions"! I chose to use some bright colors also! All the textured cardstock is from "Coordinations", the Kraft cardstock & ribbon are from PTI! I sized that cute label for the sentiment to fit using my Gypsy! I can tell that I really am tired right now because I just noticed my coloring & I am not feeling it at all! I'm still trying to work w/my copics & I still have a LOT of practicing to do!!! Have a great night my friends & sweet dreams.......:)

Peachy Keen Challenge #23

Welcome back to another Peachy Keen Challenge! This was a fun challenge for me! The challenge this week was:
*Must contain the colors green and yellow anywhere on the project
*Must have a 3d element on the project (this could be the image popped out or an embellishment)

*Must have a stamped image
*The last day to enter this challenge is March 8th.
I used my Gypsy to design my apron shaped card!! Isn't it ADORABLE? I LOVE aprons especially since I have to wear one everyday @ work, so this was fun for me to create! I kept my card simple. I used paper from DCWV, cardstock & sentiment from PTI and that BEAUTIFUL chili pepper stamp is one of Peachy keen's newest release called "Faceless Veggies One" and the face stamp is from the "Everyday Character Face Asst." If you haven't already, you need to visit Peachy Keen's Website for the most AWESOME, fun & unique stamps. Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's blog to see their version of this fun challenge! Viv, Lorie, Janice, Jacqui, Nikki, Sonia & Angelica! Thank you everybody for visiting & have a WONDERFUL day!!!

Thinking Of You!

Hello my blogging friends! It is midnight right now~ I had insomnia so instead of tossing & turning all night, I decided to just get up & make something! I was playing w/my Gypsy earlier today & made this card to fit 3 of the new flowers from Peachy Keen, but unfortunately my measurements were slightly off this time! I was "Shocked", so I decided to go with one of the BEAUTIFUL flowers from Peachy Keens new set called "Faceless Flowers 12 Petal Groovy" & "Flower Centers"! Isn't it soooo ADORABLE, I just LOVE this new set! The face stamp I chose to use was from the set "Basis Paper Doll Face Asst." I wanted to go w/spring colors so I used some pattern paper from stampin up & used copic markers to color her in! I thought she would stand out prettier with a clear background so I went w/some clear cardstock from a local stationery store here in town! The sentiment & that pretty orange ribbon is from PTI!
Well that's it for tonight! I better get to bed so I can get up early to watch "The Early Show" in the morning since they will be featuring the cricut!! Have a GREAT night everyone & sleep tight my friends:)

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day! This weekend when I went to my mailbox, there was a special surprise in there waiting for me!! My new stamps from Peachy Keen!! While I was on the couch with my family watching movies all day, I designed this using my Gypsy! I made sure the stamp fit nicely onto this cut from "New Arrival" & I thought it came out perfect! The patterned paper I used was from "Making Memories", cardstock is from PTI! Also, that sentiment is from "My Pink Stamper's" set called "Everyday Occasions"! I hope you enjoyed my card & thanks for visiting! Have a Great night:)

Super Easy Last Minute Valentine Goodies!

Hello everyone! If anybody out there is anything like me, I always wait until the last minute to work on Valentine Day goodies for my boys' classrooms! Every year, for every holiday, my boys always let me know who I need to make goodies for! They always include all of the yard duties, cafeteria "Lunch ladies", librarian, teachers & office staff! So needless to say there isn't only "1" of each so I always have to come up with something that is QUICK, CUTE & EASY! For some strange reason, I never make the same thing for everybody! I like to switch it up a bit because I get bored if I have to make the same thing over & over! The 1st picture is just a cello bag w/3 tootsie rolls in it & I used hemp for the bow & the "Designer Calendar" cart for the cute little heart frame on the front of the bag!
Now for this next picture, you can't get any simpler than this! All I did was use my scallop heart punch to cut out the pink heart & my regular heart punch to cut out the red heart! I used Peachy Keens "Everyday Character Faces" to stamp on my red heart. I used a glue dot to attach it to the front of a heart-shaped lollipop & I attached a second scallop heart behind the lollipop. Last I added some ribbon & it's done~  Easy as pie! This is perfect for classmates!
Now, for this last picture, all I did was took some pattern paper from PTI & simply wrapped it around a box of conversation hearts & added my favorite frog from the "Paisley" cart! I also used the "Hi" sentiment stamp from "My Pink Stamper"!  These will probably go to the office staff :) These are 3 easy goodies I wanted to share with you tonight! In the morning, I'll be duplicating all 3 of these so they can be ready by Friday morning! Have a great night everyone & thanks for visiting:)

Go ahead & head on over to the Peachy Keen Challenge blog & participate in this fun challenge for an opportunity to win an AWESOME prize! The deadline for this challenge will be on February 22nd! Love You!

Happy Friday everyone:) If you saw my post yesterday, I had made my niece some cute little notecards to take with her to science camp next week! Now, this card is a card I am mailing to her so she can have something cute to open while she is there! I already had wrote her a note on the inside of the card before I got to take a picture of it! I used the cut XOXO from the Paisley cart to put on the inside of the card! I think it came out really cute! All the DSP & cardstock is from Stampin up!
It's been a loooong week & I'm glad it's over! Thank you everyone for your sweet get well wishes, I am feeling MUCH better! Also, thank you for all of your sweet comments, they are very much appreciated! Thanks for visiting & have a great night!

Hello!

HELLO! I have a diagnosis, the Dr. said I had a severe sinus infection that's why I felt so crummy for 2 weeks! Now that I have antibiotics in my system, I feel like it's kicking in real fast! :) While I was @ Kaiser this morning, of course I happened to have my Gypsy with me & I decided to design these little notecards for my niece/god~daughter who is going away to science camp next week! She is not even my daughter & I'm stressing out over it:( This will be the 1st time that she will be away from her family for a whole week! So I thought I would make these little special cards for her so she can send us updates on her little adventure! (So, "Sister if you are reading this, don't let Isabel see because I want to surprise her!") I figured this was such a perfect fit for her because it's cute & girlie just like her! I think that "Paisley" cart is starting to become one of my favorites! Thanks for visiting & have a good night & sweet dreams!:) P.S. I took this picture before the stickles had dried because I was being impatient, but when the stickles dry, it will dry flat & not all thick like it looks now!

Smile! :)

Hello my bloging friends! I appreciate all of the get well wishes ~ I have a Dr. appt tomorrow morning & hopefully she can fix me "REAL FAST"!
Well there is a little story behind tonight's post ~ I designed this card using my Gypsy way before I even got this "Paisley" cart! Well, I finally got the cart in the mail & I went to load it into my Gypsy & the little cord that links the carts to the gypsy was MIA! My boys & I looked for 2 weeks & still no cord, so I broke down & landed up buying another one from Provocraft, Thank God they sell all the accessories separately! Anyways, this is the card I've been trying to cut out forever! Good thing I couldn't cut it out sooner otherwise I would not have been able to use "My Pink Stamper's" stamp for it! I guess it's true what they say "Everything happens for a reason!" I hope you like my cute little froggy card & his perfect little smile! Thanks for visiting & have a great night everyone!:)

Teacher Candy Bar Wrapper!

Hello again! While I was laying down earlier I designed this cute wrapper using my Gypsy! (Even though I wasn't feeling 100%, I couldn't waste valuable creating time!) A friend of mine had asked me to make something simple for her to put in all of her fellow teacher's boxes for Valentine's Day!
So this is what I came up with! It's simple, but to the point, not to lovey dovey, since there are some men teachers, we don't want to give them the wrong idea! lol.... I used some patterned paper I had picked up @ Joann's, I measured the Teacher Stamp which is from PTI to make sure it would fit onto my hearts perfectly! I believe the hearts are from "Home Accents" & the apple is from "Makin the Grade"! I will show this sample to her tomorrow, I hope she likes it!:) Thanks for visiting & have a great night everyone!

You are a Star!

Good morning everybody! I just wanted to do a quick post today before I go back to bed~ still not feeling well:( I wanted to show you this card I had made with the new stamp Peachy Keen Stamps has to offer! It is available for purchase here!  I used the "Wild Card" cart for the card & some pattern paper & ribbon from PTI, the yellow textured cardstock is from "Coordinations"! I was so happy to actually see this cardstock @ Joann's -6 sheets for 99 cents! I just added some adhesive starts from Michael's! Okay, that's it for today, Have a wonderful day & thanks for visiting!
