Costume Research This page is by no means exhaustive, as there are a great many movies and movie costumes out there. It will always be a work in progress. But it is here that I'll add writeups and reference images for the various costumes I've been interested in for one reason or another.

Research Pages by Genre
A small note - I don't mean it to be confusing to figure out what era a
costume is from, but the number of movie pages was getting to large to
list them all on this page. Just click on one of the eras listed below
and explore. A few small hints - movies like Princess Bride and Lemony Snicket are Science Fiction/Fantasy. King Arthur and Ever
After are in Ancient Greece through Renaissance. Marie-Antoinette, Pirates of
the Caribbean, and
Sleepy Hollow are "Georgian" aka 18th
Century. Shakespeare in Love, The Tudors and
Man in the Iron Mask are in "Tudor,
Elizabeth & Baroque". All the Jane Austen movies are "Regency". Moulin Rouge and
Interview with a Vampire are "Victorian",
Titanic is "Edwardian",
Atonement and Chicago are "Modern".
Hope this helps!
