Sketch furnished the striking new headquarters for the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) on Mansell Street, London.
Complimenting the bold design and fit-out, and playing sympathetically to the College’s heritage and history as an institution, we worked with the client to select and place stylish, functional pieces of furniture throughout.
Visitors are greeted by a striking entrance hall in a double height atrium, with an antique chandelier and furniture of Arper chairs and Knoll table.
The lower ground restaurant area features bright colours and a vibrant up-beat design with Vitra Eames chairs, James Burleigh tables and Orangebox booths.
The members’ area is a more sober space but retains a distinct personality with Lyndon design furniture, WJ Whites table in meeting rooms, and a walnut-lined Antiquarian Room containing the College’s rare books and dissertations.
On the upper floors, employees now enjoy bright open work spaces furnished with Claremont desks, Bisley pedestals and storage units, and Haworth Comforto task chairs.
