Used to get from and to the airport
Had to wait for a while at the airport for a driver.
On the return journey the driver was waiting at the hotel on time (5:00am!)

Even though all the decoration is not about Christams but for New Year' eve, the city is full of lights and beautiful decorations, which of course make you feel the Christmas spirit. Take a walk at Taksim, Istiklal or Nisantasi and enjoy the festive atmosphere! 

Christmas Masses

Turkey may not be a Christian country but it’s definitely tolerant towards other religions. To attend a Christmas Mass you don’t need to look further than the city center. For the Christians there are many Churches, such as Agia Triada and Panagia Church, located in Istiklal street and of course the Ecumenical Patriarchate, located in Fener. For the Catholics there is the big Church of Anthony of Padua, right in the middle of Istıklal street
