ebe mondo orange blossom
Have you heard the exciting news...there are new Essentials by Ellen stamps & dies!!! YAY!!!
Now I know some of you are asking how this could be possible because Ellen retired & closed the EH shop and that is true BUT she does have a small shop on Amazon. And this week there are some BRAND NEW and BEAUTIFUL sets!!!
Let's talk about one of them today, Mondo Orange Blossom...
The EBE mondo sets have always been amazing and this one does not disappoint! For this card I stamped the orange blossom branch, die cut and colored it.Then I paired it with an arched window and an arched sentiment from the new Hello My Friend set.
For this card I masked a section and ink blended with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina. When the ink was dry, I stamped the blossom branch.
Then I colored the top part with Copic markers.
Which one do you like better?

mft coffee cup & stay cool
Do you hear that click? It's MFT opening the vault to bring back some of their most sought-after designs! I know you can't wait to check it out but before you run off to shop, I've got a card to share with you...
I'm so happy to see so many of the Laina Lamb Designs coffee sets are back! I don't actually drink coffee but of course everyone I know does, LOL!
So first of all, this card was supposed to say "bestie" but I have lost the "i" from my beloved Modern Serif Alphabet so I went with "buddy". I die cut three of each letter from white cardstock and then added color to one of each with Distress Oxide & blending brushes.
Then I layered the letters to give them a little dimension and adhered them to a Sno Cone card.
I stamped the "you are..." from the Stay Cool set on the Coffee Cup die cut and made check marks with a colored pencil. Then I added the cup to the card front and stamped the "let's get together" at the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you head over to the MFT shop to snap up all the vault goodies!!!P.S. And don't think I'm not ordering a new Modern Serif set ASAP! If you don't have an alpha like this, I highly recommend!!! Totally worth it!

mft august vault release
Have you heard the good news? MFT is opening the vault tomorrow to bring back some of their most sought-after Laina Lamb Designs! I've got a little sneak peek...
The Donuts dies and Donuts and Sprinkles stamps are sets I couldn't wait to get my hands on! And of course I had to start with a shaker. I never met a die that I didn't want to turn into a shaker window, LOL!
I die cut the larger donut from a card panel to make a window. I colored the donut shape tan and adhered it to the card front where the window will be. I added the die cut frosting layer on top and then built a shaker container on the card (around the donut).
I filled the shaker container with sprinkle shaker beads and sealed it with acetate.
I stamped the sentiments on the window panel and adhered in to the card/shaker container.
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have time, over to the MFT blog to see more of what is coming tomorrow!
halloween shaker cards + ppp blog hop day 1
Pretty Pink Posh has a fabulous collection of new Halloween stamps, dies & more and I'm absolutely giddy about it! I LOVE Halloween crafting so much! And I'm delighted to be joining day 1 of the blog hop to share ideas with you!
Before I show you what I made, there's more fun! There are 3 $30 gift certificates to Pretty Pink Posh up for grabs! Enter to win by leaving comments along the hop by 11:59pm PST of August 19th, 2024. The winners will be announced on the PPP blog.
Now let's talk cards!
I have so many projects I want to make for Halloween that I almost didn't know where to start! But the answer was shaker cards because it's always shaker cards for me, LOL!
For this card I die cut the Candy Corn Shaker from a panel to make a window. Then I die cut the stitched layers from white cardstock and ink blended to add color. I adhered the layers to another panel where the window would be.
I wrapped scrap plastic around the panel to make a pocket. It's a great way to use stamp & die packaging and it's super easy! I adhered the bottom & sides but left the top open to add shaker bits. For this card I used Iridescent Stars & a little chunky glitter.
After sealing the pocket, I adhered the window panel on top with a little stamped sentiment and a spider from the Spooky Mug Additions.
And all of those layers are adhered to a folded card. It sounds like a lot but its very slim & easy to mail!
I also wanted to use the Classic Halloween Shaker Beads but they need a little more to move so I made a shaker with foam tape and the Bat Shaker set. (BTW, I added a few pink beads from the Springtime Shaker Beads because my Halloween requires pink, LOL!)Your next stop on the hop is Marine's blog and I know she is going to WOW us with something fabulous!!!
And here's the whole list if you need it...

mft food fun truck shaker card
The MFT Stamps new card kit Food Truck Fun is so adorable and you know I had to make at least one shaker card with it, LOL!
I die cut the food truck body five times from white cardstock so I could layer it up as a shaker container. I adhered four layers together and then adhered them to the card front over a little blue ink blending. I added some of the mini donut die cuts inside the truck and some sprinkle shaker bits. Then I adhered a piece of acetate on top to seal the shaker window.
I added color to the last truck with blending tools and Distress Oxide inks. And then I added all the cute detail layers like the awning, wheels, etc.
I added a layer of Glossy Accents & sprinkle bits to the giant donut to create the donut sign.
Lastly I stamped a sentiment from the Coffee & Donuts set and little faux splatter with a pen.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

food truck fun card kit from mft stamps
MFT has the cutest new card kit out today, Food Truck Fun! It's the perfect thing for sending happy mail to your favorite foodie!
The first thing I had to create was a hot dog truck because my grandparents actually had one in the 70s!
I die cut most of the pieces from white cardstock because there are always scraps on my desk and I find it easier to add color with ink blending rather than searching for the perfect shade of cardstock. For the truck I used Distress Oxide Saltwater Taffy & Abandoned Coral. For the awning I used Distress Oxide Mustard Seed. I also used some Copic markers on the smaller pieces and some silver metallic cardstock too.
I used the Fair Food stamp set and Hamburgers & Hot Dogs die set to customize my truck. How cute is the "giant" hot dog for the sign? And the itsy bitsy ones in the food truck window? I can't even handle the cutness!
Thanks so much for stopping by and definitely pop over to the MFT blog to see more projects with the adorable sets!
