The Bowmen of Bosworth longbow club is based at Market Bosworth in Leicestershire (with a Warwickshire postcode). It is a traditional longbow only club and shoot Target, Clout and a variety of other shoots throughout the year.

The club shoots outdoors all year round on a Sunday morning and during the summer months on a Tuesday evening as well. We have archers at all levels of expertise and ages. The club runs a variety of tournaments, fun shoots and Have-a-Go’s through the year.

We welcome novices as well as experienced archers. Our members are very friendly and new archers integrate easily into a good club atmosphere.

Existing Archers

Any person wishing to join the club must prove that they are able to shoot safely and have completed a beginners’ course. Therefore one of the clubs coaches will assess your shooting to ensure that you meet the required standard. If you are already affiliated to Archery GB you must produce your affiliation card to prove this.

Our fees:

These are set each year at our Annual General Meeting in August. At the moment for 2020 they are:

£40 each Senior shooting member

£20 each Junior (under the age of 18 and accompanied by a parent/responsible adult)

£20 each non-shooting member
