Playing with the Eximus Ultra Wide and Slim Camera

Few weeks ago I went to Malang with the new extended family.
Specially for this occasion, I bought an Eximus Ultra Wide and Slim Camera.

it's green, my favorite tone of green.

After using digital camera for years, it's weird to use film camera again and unable to see the result before the whole roll processed.  I didn't even know whether I used it correctly or not.  I already forgot all the photography basic and just blindly shot everything. when everybody else already posted and shared their pictures, I still have to wait some extra days to find the place to process the film. it's exciting, just like waiting for the Christmas day to open the gift.  Here's the result:

Batu Secret Zoo

my favorite pic: the sugar cane field

the result is not really that special cause the object itself already interesting, the objects still look good captured by a normal camera phone.  There are some failed pictures because of lack of light, cause there's no flashlight. And there are also some other amateur mistakes but turn out to be interesting pictures.

me taking a picture of my sister taking a picture of her husband taking a picture of an elephant
Haunted mansion with a... ghost?  no, that's my dad :p

something you won't get when using digital camera

Do Not Do Not Ever

it's not an abstract picture, it's a warning
do not... DO NOT ever change the XplusDigital's mode to fast, it might broke your camera.
I got this broken image during the photo session for my Chinese Gold-gurumi
Luckily this "sickness" is not permanent

My New Camera

New Year, New Camera, same eyes

Nothing change, I'm still the amateur photographer (if I might refer myself as photographer)
I don't think expensive camera would help me, or actually I thought it would be such a waste to buy a mighty and smart camera.
so I choose a Yashica EZ- W501
why? because it fits my budget, I did ask the seller, the cheapest digital camera (with Li-ion battery)
it's cheap (read: not that cheap) for a 14 MP and dependable enough.

And I didn't really know what it could do, cause I just need the macro mode for my amigurumi.
There are actually about 14 modes, but for now my favorite modes are the program mode, lomo mode, and auction mode.

the chili tree
using program mode (only red items shown in colors)

the broken lock
using the same program mode

the broken lock
using Lomo Mode

well you could easily do this with photoshop, but for me photoshop is never easy.
of course the "lomo mode" might not as good as the real lomo picture, but I think it's really good for an instant dramatic effect.
I highly recommend this camera for another photoshop dummy like me (please tell me, I'm not the only photoshop dummy in the world)

there are also other interesting modes, like fisheye mode, but I haven't use it.  I tell you more about the auction mode and the other modes next time.

Bloopers

it was a nice, dramatic scene
when I realized I didn't put the Glue far enough.
D*mn, and there's no way to recreate the picture
I'm a dummy photoshopper, remember?

Oh Shaky Hands

I didn't expect a good picture when I got shaky hands while pressing the shutter button.
but the results are not as blurry as I expected too :p

Playing with toycam

I want to be so many things, but one thing for sure, I'm not a photographer.
I bring my camera almost everyday, but rarely took pictures, even when I was traveling.
I hate taking pictures of other people nor myself.
I don't like taking picture of things I could see in postcards.
so I'm really not a photographer.
Now I got something what so called toy cameras (toycam), and I enjoyed taking pictures with the toycams.
I'm not promising any pretty or interesting pictures for you, but at least it's interesting for me.

Here are the pictures taken from my Kurodigi

the rainbow at the rooftop
at the garden of daisies
 broken hearted Frankenstein

below are the pictures captured with Xplusdigital:

the first thing you see outside the Studio I've been working at, really it's not that interesting :p
Kupir, my favorite model
An & Mon

and here's from my first toycam, disderi 2 lenses (not digital)

I had took a lot of pictures with my toycams, but I must admit, not every picture goes well
Hey, it's a toycam, I'm playing with it, at least I'm having fun :p
