Button wednesday
Working with the vintage buttons out of the huge collection I have. Made little crochet
rosettes with silk, cotton, paper yarn to pimp the buttons, and I will made rings out of them.

Button wednesday
Out of my button treasury I sorted out a bunch of old shirt-buttons in creamy colors and different materials.
As I am a crochet addict, I crocheted this necklace with these
buttons and a nylon thread.

Button Wednesday
Yesterday I visited my 87 year old aunt and told her about 'button wednesday'. She has been sewing her own clothes until about the age of 80. She surpised me with two immense Quality Street boxes, this time not filled with chocolates but with buttons.
This had the same effect on my as candy :-) !
Now I am thinking of a way to integrate them into a
button-necklace-collection.
Stay tuned for the results.

Artisan Recycled Glass Buttons
Fair Trade & Made in Africa : find them on Ecobutterfly
We had these buttons especially made for us. We wanted a wide variety of available colors and smaller sizes that have yet to be available until now.
These beautiful Fair Trade buttons are hand crafted from recycled bottles & discarded glass. The glass used is always 100% recycled glass. There are never chemical additives or finishes applied.
