Malaysia!
Dang! I really won’t be able to tell! You may be able to get an answer HERE.
For us ornery laymen, these may enlighten us some
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO US WHO ONLY KNOW HOW TO COOK FOOD.
BN boasted that their 1Malaysia NGO (pic) was responsible for the BN victory in Galas. I am not disputing that because it is easy to buy Malaysians of all shades during a by-election. We saw that in Galas, Hulu Selangor and PD. For a few hundred ringgit they are capable of selling the country one day, God forbid!
If Chia Buang Hing cannot convince the Chinese voters in house to house visits in Tenang, nothing will. Not even ceremah perdana! Selvach cannot as he is being tortured in Batu Gajah and receiving treatment in hospital. Kugan, Teoh Beng Hock, Guna, and teenager Amirulrasyid all CANNOT. They are all dead, kaput, past tense!
Framemaker Chia is alive and CAN speak for the deceased! If the Chinese, Malays and Indians cannot be moved, then we know that money only can….and that would be a crying shame……close to, if not, treason! BN will continue to use money, because over 50 years they have proved THAT THE MALAYS, CHINESE and INDIANS CAN BE EASILY BOUGHT.
The December holiday period sees a landfill increase of 25% more litter which furthers global warming through off-gassing. You can enjoy Christmas and holiday celebrations while being good to the planet with just a few changes. With the tips HERE you can start an earth-friendly Christmas that will reduce your carbon foot print, create minimum impact on the earth and the good news is that it is easy, affordable, fun and rewarding.
I am convinced that those sentiments, so refreshingly expressed by The Angler, resides in most of our youths. It is an inherent trait (instinct?) amongst children to mix and play with their peers. (I will offer the Angler's piece at the end of this "hard talk".
It was during my time in the 50s. I did not know that Zainal was a Malay until his first introduction into Ramadan. We got angry when he could not come out to make the numbers for our “rounders”. When he did not respond to our yells we rushed into his house and found him sleeping on the floor. We woke him up. “Cannot play lah, very hungry,” Zai said. Uncle Ahmad and Aunty Shan were at work and we were brave enough to raid the meat-safe. We gave him a piece of goring fish. He refused. He came out though but sat and sulked until the fun we were having got the better of his hunger. It was later on that Uncle Ahmad explained to us that evening when we “buka puasa” with them.
I knew Chandra and Kicik (his nick because of his size) were Indians because my brother and I were given “Oil Bath” once every month by their aunt.
I had no Malay classmates then. My neighborhood Malay kids went to KEVII (King Edward VII). Their parents were all government servants and we all spoke English, which is the genuine excuse I give for my deficiency in Bahasa.
Zai often ate in our house. My grandma dished out everything for him on his plate. My grandma only said that Zai cannot eat pork and you do not question my grandma. Period.
When I left home to continue my studies in Penang, it was Uncle Rahman Yusof (who became Singapore Minister of State for Education when I taught in Singapore) who consoled me when I went next door to say goodbye to him.
In Penang for three years Akashah sat beside me. By then I knew he was a Malay, but so what?
THAT WAS HOW IT WAS THEN.
When Patrina was in Assunta and Kevin in La Salle PJ and later SMK Damansara Jaya, their closest friends were Malays and Indians….this until today.
BUT WHY IS IT SO DIFFERENT AS TOLD BY “THE ANGLER”?
My immediate neighbors in our condo is Shah and Sophie and Danny and his new bride Moley. I am also close to Jeff and Norlie. Then there is Tommy and Rosie and Gee. I miss Bidi and Nanie who are now in Doha. These are my close condo-mates, all Malays of course.
SO WHY IS IT DIFFERENT AS NARRATED BY “THE ANGLER”?
As I write this my closest buddies are Boom and Rodi, Tengku Vic and Ms More, Kamal and Serena. They say they are Malays, by the way.
Why this RACISM we are being inflicted with? Looks like Racism amongst us Chinese, Malays and Indians are planted in the home, watered in our schools and manured into full-blown RACISM by our politicians. Am I being harsh here?

Folks I just heard this from the president of a well known consumer association in Subang Jaya. Changes are being proposed to the Road Transportation Act (the Pengangkutan thingy) whereby all owners of registered motor vehicles will be required to buy new car license number plates.
The new number plates will have some computer chip in it (to make the Government's job easier I suppose). HERE is the catch.

The mainstream media had been unfair to me by sensationalizing adverse unverified stories against me and then failing to report facts favorable to me. Their actions amounted to conspiratory conduct with, what I consider, rogue elements in the government. The mainstream media should realize that their survival depends on the credibility of the news they carry. Thus, they owe a duty for fair and accurate reporting and not to be a medium of propaganda for any agenda.
At Sunday’s MCLM closed-door presentation, too much of Q&A time was taken up on the possibility of three-cornered-fights. This undeniably was a valid fear amongst the audience who were aware that the success of Pakatan during the March 08 election was the consensual negation of three-cornered-contests.
MCLM professed ability to propose elite candidates to contest in the next GE is a magnanimous gesture. Whether Pakatan accepts the MCLM candidates will invariably become a major concern. What guarantee is there that the Pakatan coalition will accept MCLM candidates instead of their party members? If Pakatan rejects the offer will MCLM candidates be forced into the obvious three-cornered fight?
THREE-CORNERED-FIGHTS can be avoided if MCLM does some groundwork. The objective behind offering their candidates is to replace “errant” or non-performing MPs or Aduns. Months before 308 The People’s Parliament led an initiative where the people of a constituency got together to “watch” their Parliamentary or State reps. To me this movement caught the wind in their sails, but lost it after the euphoria of 308.
However, it is not too late for MCLM to revive this initiative. MCLM has the candidates as proclaimed. Until MCLM can give concrete proof to Pakatan parties that their incumbents are wanting no way any MCLM candidate will be accepted as a replacement candidate.
MCLM has put their candidates through a “CLEANSING” process. The same could be done to ferret out delinquent Pakatan MPs and Aduns for replacement.
Can we agree that the Pakatan coalition put partisanship aside in the choice of candidate for 308?
Can we also agree that unusual sacrifices were made by Pakatan coalition in the choice of candidates for 308?
Can we agree that at all cost, they worked as a team to prevent three-cornered- contests?
We can also agree that some choices were shitty because good sense did not prevail, decisions were rushed through and flawed loyalties took precedence. The frogs are good examples.
Can we agree that MCLM can and must work as a team with Pakatan Rakyat for the common goal – forming the next government of Malaysia.
I will not ask anyone to agree on this.....I just pray that good sense will prevail and there will never be a three cornered amongst MCLM and Pakatan.
It would be ideal to see MCLM officially engage the Pakatan chiefs and clear the air of all misconceptions flying around. Give evidence that their candidates are wanting. Like it is commonly heard: In God we trust, the others show DATA.
These are my thoughts for whatever it is worth.
I am with MCLM in its mission to meet OUR goal, but we have to do the RIGHT thing RIGHT this first time.

OF INTEREST DEFINITELY HERE
Yes, for a fact he royally does keep his promise….but at the price of chicanery that Perakians will never forget. He won’t dare utter “Wa tolong lu, lu tolong wa” or the preferred Cantonese “NGOR PONG NEI, NEI PONG NGOR” to any common (as opposed to UN-COMMON) Perakian. Word has it that this infamous whispered inducement originated in Perak. It was so potently powerful that he publicly used these magic words in Sibu and like what a BN stalwart said: Najib lost Sibu for us.
Najib forgot that he was speaking to the common people of Sibu and not to any un-common one.
However, it’s not certain whether Gamuda-MMC will also be awarded the tunnelling portion of the project,” the source said, referring to the RM14 billion drilling component of the project.

Anon1012AM, Thanks but Africans too visit, No? You may be correct, Asri might be looking at wrong map…..so here is the map.
I am having a dual mind about writing this piece as several people reminded me to slow down and stop whacking PR. There are readers that say that I have personal vendetta against Azmin. Honestly I don’t. I write base on my own assessment on situation. As always it is written without fear or favor.
Right now, it is without denial after the PKR polls fiasco my respect for Azmin has gone down rock bottom. With his latest statement about giving full autonomy to Sarawak, it shows how dangerous some politicians can be in trying to secure votes. I wonder who will give the promise to create a new settlement on the moon.
GO VISIT Autonomy – Utter NONSENSE!
He can give BN, a two-third majority, this critter can!
But you got to qualify as a hypocrite!
HYPOCRISY, SOMEONE SAID, IS PREJUDICE WITH A HALO AND I DO RECALL FRANCOIS, DUC DE LA ROCHEFOUCAULD SAY THAT HYPOCRISY IS AN HOMAGE THAT VICE RENDERS TO VIRTUE.
When appointed Speaker of the House after the aftermath of 308, he resigned as an UMNO division chief because:
"It is for the dignity of the House. I do not want to be seen as an active Umno member holding a division chief post.”
"I hope to emulate the late Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tun Zahir Ismail who in his 22 years gained respect by staying away from political positions."
(Ahchewwwwww, acewwwwww….I think you know that I am allergic to bull shit.)
How insulting to Tun Zahir! How puerile to aspire to decency and fairness that were the hallmark of Tun? How presumptuous that he thought we would buy his piss-poor neutered performance! He is the SOB who would wrap himself up in the national flag and challenged us to burn him, not realizing that we would rather use the flag to hang him! Dang, but he is the anointed Speaker who speaks what is whispered to him by his handler. What more can I say about this syphilitic lancheow except “hold it tight because without it, you will be the speaker turned squeaker.”
Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said that MPs needed to debate competently with integrity and more thought, to make Malaysia's parliament world class.
Now that is like eating an apple or an elephant whole. We will choke to death. We need to take small bites, masticate instead of swallowing. How about trying to aim for second class, then graduate to first class, sack the Speaker and then probably dream about being world class.
I do not want to defile this posting with his name but if you just want to know how a speaker should not behave such go HERE, HERE
