Dot turns 1

My baby is 1. It is so hard to believe. Wasn't she just born? I can't believe how time flies. Here are some pictures from her big day.

Mt Vernon-Finally getting in

On the 24th, we decided to try to go to Mt Vernon again. This time we made it in. We bought timed tickets which meant we did not have to wait in the big line to get in the house. We had fun. Boolie loved looking at the animals the best.

National Aquarium

We got tickets for free adult admission to the National Aquarium. We decided to use them before they expired. The aquarium is not very big, but Boolie had a great time at it. She kept wanting to see all the fish.

Mt Vernon-our first attempt

On April 10, we headed up to the DC area to go see Mt Vernon. It was packed. We had to park at a park about a mile away. the line was long to get in. It was about an hour and a half wait. We decided to not to the house that day, but I took some fun pictures on our mile hike.

Dot walking

This past week, Dot learned to climb stairs. She is getting so close to walking. I got her to walk with a walking toy. Here she is with her hippo walking toy.
