Marine Silent Drill Team

The Marine Silent Drill Team came and did a performance at the base here. It was a fun performance. Thanks to my friend who told me about it.

And of course, a picture of one of my children..

Udvar-Hazy

We planned to go to the temple a few weeks in a row, but for some reason, the plans fell through several times. One of those times, a few people in the house were not feeling well during the night. By the mid-morning on Saturday, everyone felt better, but we were not going to make it to the temple. We went instead the the Udvar-Hazy Annex of the Air and Space Museum. Here are a few of the pictures my husband took.

Boolie loved the rockets.

Dot loved walking.

Strawberry Picking

One thing people like to do out here is go to a strawberry field and pick strawberries. The Relief Society in the ward was doing that for an activity. Then they had a jam making class. A couple of my friends and I went to the strawberry picking, then a few days later, I taught one of my friends to make jam. (We did not go to the ward jam making class.)

Boolie loved picking berries!

Boolie also loved the playground.

Our haul for the day.

Annapolis

On May 8th, my husband ended up having to work on a paper. A friend of mine's husband also had to work on the same paper, so she and I head down to Annapolis to spend the day and go to a Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's market. The day we were there, there was also an auction going on, so we ate lunch to the song from the auction. Here are some pictures from the day.

We learned Dot loves strawberries!

The building the farmer's market was in.

Playing Catch Up

I am going to be working on catching up with what we have been doing over the past month and a half, so be patient with me.
