Santa came to our house. He brought some great things. Zack got a lot of big presents. So we just put them behind the couch.
Zack and Drew got some DVDs in their stockings. Zack also got a Buzz Lightyear that talks if you push his button.
Mommy and daddy tracked Santa with help from NORAD. Don't ask us why. We were up until 11:30 tracking him.
Pip not caring about all that was going on. She was just enjoying the comfortable sleeping companions.

Christmas fun
Zack giving Drew a ride in his jumper.
Cookies at the church Christmas party
Can you stuff two whole cookies in your mouth? Zack can.
As you will be able to tell after reading through the next few entries, we have played with trains a lot lately. The truth is, Zack would play with them everyday if mommy let him. Mean mommy.
Zack trying to pump.
Just a cute little boy
The three amigos
Drew and I were cuddling on the couch, so Zack had to come and sit on me also.
Zack talking on the phone with Grandma Allen. One of our friends called and Zack wanted to talk. So I called my mom and he was able to talk with her.

Fun around the house
Zack playing in the window. Usually it's with something he is not supposed to. It's like he's invisible.
10 cats on our bed. Before you think that I can't count- yes, there are 10. Pip thinks she needs to sleep on my body pillow which is behind all the rest of the pillows.
Box enjoying his dinner. Box enjoys living downstairs. He eats the cat food whenever he wants and drinks the cat water whenever he wants. I usually forget he is there until I end up kicking him accidentally.
I am so glad Zack loves his brother. The other morning Zack came downstairs and said, "Momma Dwew yake." So I got out of bed and went upstairs to get Drew. Zack ran in the room with me, climbed on the crib and said, "Yook momma. Dwew yake." He is also a very big helper and will usually get Drew a toy if I ask him.
Zack trying out the bike helmet that Matt's co-worker gave him. She has a son that is 6 and passes on things that he has out grown. Zack loved it and he wore it almost all the time for 2 days.
He was good enough to share with Drew. He even put it on Drew's head a few times.
We were getting ready to go on a walk when I looked over and Zack was trying to put Box in his back pack. The question is: If I had not seen it, how long would the turtle have been in the back pack?
This is a great place to get warm in the morning. I usually find a cat or Box (the turtle) sunning themselves there. This morning it was where Zack decided to play and eat his breakfast.
It got cold the other day and even snowed. The ground was too warm though, so it did not stick. We bundled the kids in their warm coat and snow suit and went for a run. We had Josh take this picture of us in front of the little bit of snow left on the bottom of a fence.
23 degrees. That is a little cold, even for all y'all up north.
This is what I get to deal with in the morning: Me trying to feed Drew his breakfast cereal and Drew looking at Box as he walks by.
Drew and a Christmas teddy bear.
Two pictures by Zack. This one is pretty good. It is Matt putting together the Geotraxs for him.
Drew excited for lunch.

Black Friday
I had finished Andrew's stocking before he was born. I just had to add the name and finish putting it together. Well, after I started back to work, I added his name and then it sat in the closet. Then on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when I decided that Drew's stocking holder needed a stocking, I pulled it out and FINISHED it all the way. This is what 6 months of trying to stay awake at work while pregnant looks like.
As you noticed, mine is the only store bought stocking. Maybe next year it will be different. I have one started, but with 3 months maternity leave and 2 crazy boys it is only about half way done.
We did go out on black Friday, but that was not until around noon and then it was only to Lowe's nursery department to get the Christmas tree. When we got home, both the boys went down for their naps. Matt and I got out the Christmas decorations. I decorated the inside of the house and the tree while Matt put up the lights outside.
Zack with his Little People nativity set
I see London. I see France. I see Zack's underpants. He would run around with no pants on if I would let him. The only problem is our house is only 69 degrees, which is not really underwear only weather.
I don't remember what time the boys got up, but I needed a morning nap. This is the best way to spend the morning of Black Friday.
Zack holding Homer and Drew holding the scarecrow guy that I forgot to put away from the Thanksgiving decorations.
We are not the only ones that enjoy the Christmas tree. I have lost count of the number of glass balls the cats and Zack have broken. I have decided that next year I am going to replace them with something else.
Drew playing with Lightning.
My Christmas bears are great to cuddle with.
Katie sledding.

Thanksgiving Break
Matt wanted to go camping over Thanksgiving break. So we decided to go Sunday through Tuesday. Then some of our friends wanted to go on Friday night also, so we made reservations. Unfortunately, our friends backed out at the last minute. We could not change or cancel our reservation without losing our money, so we went anyway. It was a good night. Then around 3 am it started to rain. It wasn't a hard rain, but enough that you didn't want to sit around in it for too long. It kept raining almost all day Saturday. We could not stay Saturday night because I had to work, so we packed everything up and went home.
The rain did not seem to bother Zack. He played all the same. It was not raining that hard. More of a drizzle.
Then I had to use the umbrella to cover the bottle warmer while I warmed Drew's bottle. When I was done, Zack needed the umbrella to play with.
Drew playing in his car seat
More fun with the umbrella
We came back on Sunday night. It had dried out a little. Here's the boys playing next to the picnic table.
There was a small cinder block wall in our camp site that Zack loved to drive his cars on.
We went on a walk on Monday. We came across some wild life.
The boys took turns sleeping in the stroller.
A heron.
Taking a small detour on one of the bridges we crossed. They have a small place that you can stop and look for birds in the swampy area of the park.
Our dinner guest. While we would cook our dinner each evening, this raccoon would come and try to join us. He was very daring and would get within 3-4 feet sometimes.
Hanging out together to keep warm. It would get into the forties at night. (Yet, you should notice the warm footwear.)

We would race Zack sometimes to get him to walk a little faster. The only problem is sometimes he would trip on branches. The boys taking a ride in the stroller down a little hill
