No me ames.

Dime por qué lloras
De felicidad
Y por qué te ahogas
Por la soledad
Di por qué me tomas
Fuerte así
Mis manos
Y tus pensamientos te van llevando

Yo te quiero tanto
Y por qué será
Loco testarudo
No lo dudes más
Aunque en el futuro haya un muro enorme
Yo no tengo miedo
Quiero enamorarme

No me ames
Porque pienses
Que parezco diferente
Tú no piensas que es lo justo
Ver pasar el tiempo juntos
No me ames
Que comprendo
La mentira que sería
Si tu amor no merezco
No me ames
Mas quédate otro día

No me ames
Porque estoy perdido
Porque cambié el mundo
Porque es el destino
Porque no se puede
Somos un espejo
Y tú así serías lo que yo de mí reflejo
No me ames
Para estar muriendo
Dentro de una guerra llena de arrepentimientos
No me ames para estar en tierra
Quiero alzar el vuelo
Con tu gran amor por el azul del cielo

No sé qué decirte
Esa es la verdad
Si la gente quiere
Sabe lastimar
Tú y yo partiremos
Ellos no se mueven
Pero en este cielo sola no me dejes

No me dejes
No me dejes
No me escuches
Si te digo "no me ames"
No me dejes
No desarmes
Mi corazón con ese "no me ames"
No me ames
Te lo ruego
Mi amargura
Dèjame sabes bien
Que no puedo
Que es inútil
Que siempre te amaré

No me ames
Pues te haré sufrir con este
Corazòn que se llenó de mil inviernos
No me ames
Para así olvidarte de tus días grises
Quiero que me ames
Sólo por amarme
No me ames
Tú y yo volaremos
Uno con el otro y seguiremos siempre juntos
Este amor es como el sol que sale tras de la tormenta
Como dos cometas en la misma estela

Such a nice song.
*sighs in contentment*

Work.

Work today was very interesting. I went into work, and then my boss said "Hello! I've got something for you to do!". So I was like, "Urm, drinks?". And he was like "No, no, no." And then he thrusted his wife's phone to me.

And I was like huh? And then I oh-ed. He did tell me earlier he wanted me to help him cancel the call divert on his phone. So I spent an entire hour trying to figure out how to cancel his call divert. Easy money huh. $11 earned to play with a Motorola V3X.

And after that, I dealt with my drinks. And till the end of the day, the grand total of customers I served is ZERO.

And my boss calls Chi Yao Ciao. How cute. Ciao. Maybe I should start calling him that too.

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy my job?

Phobias.

I am currently sitting through a FIRM (Financial Instruments and Risk Management) lecture and happily looking at people laughing at Sirimon's Thai accent. Not as hilarious to me because my Thai relatives speak pretty much the same as her, if not worse.

So I got bored. Should be studying some Auditing, but bah, what's studying when I have a laptop right in front of me with access to the Internet? So I blog-surfed and then I landed on Ter Lee's blog.

Following the link from Ter Lee's post on Scoleciphobia, I decided to go read through some phobias that are existent in this world. Read through a list of phobias before somewhere in Time Magazine or something some time ago, but decided to refresh my mind with the more common ones.

And then I came across these few, which I think I might have a slight case of:

  • Agraphobia - fear of sexual abuse
  • Alliumphobia - fear of garlic
  • Amathophobia - fear of dust
  • Anginophobia - fear of choking
  • Anuptaphobia - fear of staying single
  • Arachibutyrophobia - fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth
  • Asymmetriphobia - fear of asymmetry things
  • Ataxophobia - fear of disorder or untidiness
  • Atelophobia - fear of imperfection
And those are just the As. I got bored though, so I'm not going to go to the Bs. Wouldn't want to bore you either.

As you can see, I'm easily bored.
Woo...finance seems very complicated.
Hmm...I should start my Auditing.
Right.
Okay.
Blah.

Boss, oh boss.

I was at work today and I overheard this very interesting conversation.

Brandall wanted to ask boss something so she said "Boss, are you free?".

My boss replied "No, I'm very expensive."

*speechless*

Boss, oh boss.

Am I inaudible or easily ignorable?

Am I inaudible?
I can't be. Many have told me I'm quite loud and brash. So how can I be inaudible? How can things that I say not be heard or acknowledged by others? How is it that I have to repeat myself to be heard?
Weird.

Am I easily ignorable?
Is my presence of such insignificance that I'm easily passed over for another? My conversations are easily cut, intruded and intercepted by others'. Are my topics of discussion of such mild interest?
Hmm.

Maybe, I should start wearing neon signs above my head. Or bring around a whiteboard to write down what I'm saying. Maybe I could try to look ridiculous then get all the attention focused on me. *imagines*

Haha. Sillynya. Maybe I need sleep and I need to consume more sugar. I'm not getting enough in my system these days.

Cannot. Survive. Without. My. Sugar.

Zzzzzzzz.....

A new beginning.

RAM has been put into my computer.
Things work faster.
Folders open when clicked.
Songs play when clicked on.
Movies play when clicked on.
Words appear when I type.
Applications change when I Ctrl Tab.
Sometimes it's still a bit laggy.
Don't know why.
But no matter what, it's still faster.

Yay.
It's going to be a great semester.

I think there's something wrong with my wireless.
And my Mozilla Firefox.
I think I should do something bout the two.
My wireless kills my comp.
My firefox is still quite the laggy.
Weird.

Gargh.
Whatever.
My comp is faster now.
I can sleep well tonight. Yay.
I should probably head home soon.
Still in Fenner.

It's a new beginning.
Both for my computer and for me. Yay.

The end is near.

The end of the holidays is near and within reach.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo...

But on the brighter side, it's a whole new beginning.

I will see a speedier side of things. My RAM is coming back from Malaysia tomorrow. My comp will work faster. The lesson of patience has been taught and learnt well.

I will be more hardworking. With people I'm hanging out with being so determined to be more hardworking this semester, I only hope the influence will rub off on me. Though this has failed to work since I started schooling, July 2007 might prove to be different.

Well, we'll see how la.

Winter wonderlame.

A few days ago Willy told us about this Winter Wonderland thingie happening in Canberra and he got me all syioked up about it.

Well, I'll put up some pictures and you can be the judge if it's worth my 4 very precious dollars.

Oh, and I was dared to do this. Seriously. There were little kids there waiting in line to hug it. Aiyo. I stole it from them for this.

Luckily, it was compensated by a nice car ride, compliments of Willy, to Red Hill Lookout. The view: breathtaking.

I literally felt on top of the world.

We later took a nice car ride around Red Hill, Manuka, Kingston area. Looked at rich people's houses, wowed, and then went home. =)

All in all, it wasn't such a sad outing.

Aunty showers.

It's raining men aunties!

Not really la. Just been bombarded by a few.

You see, I volunteered for IEO to help lead Campus Tours the past 3 days since I was just sitting at home with nothing to do.

So on this third day (Wednesday), one of the girls in my tour was Gladys (I'm supposing this is how you spell it). And at the end of our tour, I was passing her an extra brochure, but she was with 2 of her friends, and they asked me for one too, so I gave it to them.

And then Gladys introduced me to them. And at THAT very point, the rest of my day, whatever I had planned, was gone to waste.

So I met Amanda and Debbie. Along with Amanda's mom, Debbie's mom and Debbie's aunt. Then Matt came out and told them of the free BBQ held outside (we were in IEO office). So all the aunties "Waaah free food!!"

So they went out to eat lo. Then while eating they were asking me tens of thousands of questions lo. Then one mentioned she was staying at Unilodge, then I said Ooo I don't like, I prefer where I stay. Then they were like where do you stay? So I was like erm Academie House. Then they were like can we go see the room ah? So I was like, erm...I guess that's okay.

So after food, the whole big jinggang headed to room 116 in Academie House. Enter room, wah wah wah, nice nice nice, more questions ensues, satisfied with room and questions.

We headed out. I was supposed to meet Brandall for shopping that afternoon. I was already running late, and seeing as para aunties also wanted to go there, I was happy to bring them along. But along the way, we made a detour to Jolimont Centre, cause one aunty wanted to know how to get there.

When we got to Canberra Centre, the newbies wanted to sign up for 3 phone, so I brought them there, but they didn't have a proof of address, so I had to bring them to the banks to get a proof of address. Then we went back, para aunty told me to follow them for lunch.

After a lot of thanks yous and no thank yous, I still did follow them. We had Izumi, where I could clearly see the lady boss wasn't too happy to have us around. But who cares la?

So after that, we headed back to 3, waited some time, got things settled, then I had to go Jolimont to pass someone something, then I headed back to meet them, in case they lose their way and couldn't find their way home.

And they were sort of lost, as they couldn't find Supabarn. So I brought them there, bought some groceries, then we finally headed home.

One of the aunties were complaining bout the cold, and hinted that my heater was very warm, so I (not so) graciously offered her my roomie's heater for temporary usage.

After that, I was off to fetch Miss Tan from the airport with Chia Pei, so I left them to walk back to Unilodge on their own. (In case you were wondering, they didn't get lost.)

That night, I pulled along Miss Tan and Ah Boy to go meet these aunty-aunty. We spent bout half an hour to an hour there, talked more, and then it was getting late, so we said bye.

And then, never was I so glad to be home.

I still have playdates with newbies. Dickson playdate, Brand Depot playdate, curry playdate. Fun.

Police search for Miss Xin Yi Tan.

"Police has launched a nationwide search for Miss Xin Yi Tan..."

So says Ah Boy's personal message on his MSN that night.

Also, there was:
2 missed calls from Ah Boy on my 3 phone,
1 missed call from Willy on my Optus phone,
1 missed call from Willy on Chi Yao's phone,
1 missed call from Willy on my 3 phone,
2 missed calls from Chia Pei on my Optus phone,
4 missed calls from Chia Pei on my 3 phone,
1 call (that I didn't pick up) from Chia Pei to my room phone.

And to get the room phone number, Chia Pei called until Sydney. Sheng and Rachel both having happy holidays there, to be disrupted by Chia Pei frantically calling to know my room phone number.

And then she thought, okay, never mind, she can get people to knock on my door. So she called Ahmad, who happened to be in Melbourne, so whoops, cannot. Then she called Sarah, who was in Batemans Bay, who, luckily, just got back.

By this time, Chia Pei and Ah Boy were both here at my apartment already, but couldn't get in. Sarah let them in, then they both got in and got to my door and started banging on it.

After about 2 minutes, I opened the door, to be met with angry stares and a whole load of scolding.

You know why?

Cause alllll these time, I was...

SLEEPING. *sheepish grin*

OCD wave struck again.

I don't know how a place can get so messy in just a matter of 3 short days. I came back after dinner and just couldn't take it.

I started doing dishes, then I looked at the table top and realised I had no place to put my clean dishes so I had to clean my table top, and then the dust from the table top had to go to the bin, which was full, so I had to tie up the bag, which then led me to realise that the bin was dirty and stinky, so I had to clean my bin, which then led me to see that the floor was dirty and so I had to sweep, and then some of it was stuck to the floor stubbornly, so I had to mop.

Phew. And I haven't even started any cleaning yet.

So I started with the bin, then I saw the floormats, then I scrubbed the floormats as well, then I got out the mop pail and mopped the entire kitchen area and then I noticed the carpets, then not having a vacuum I started to sweep bit by bit of my carpet. I managed to get the big bits off the carpet, but the tiny ones are stuck there till I get a vacuum. Bah.

When the mopped floor was dry, I started on the table top and the dishes, then I spent a long time scrubbing the stove area and then I cleaned the dishes, let them dry, then I moved on to washing my kitchen cloths, scrubbing each and every one of them, then I dumped them in the dryer. Then I head back and started cleaning up my study table. Tidying it up more like. So tidy tidy into neat piles, then I started on my dining table, then my pile of laundry, sorted them into colours, ready for their next wash, then I cleaned up my bed of my shopping, folded the plastic bags nicely and neatly, put my shopping away into my cupboards/wherever they belong, then I looked around. Then I saw my mop pail still lying around, so I took it out to throw the dirty water away, then I thought oh ya, my toilet, I need to clean it too, so I filled that pail with water, brought it back and cleaned my entire bathroom. Then I came out of that with wet pant sleeves, so I sat down, after all that, to fold it up. I folded it then took a good look around the room.

And, I'm satisfied. For now.

(There's still the vacuuming, and the cleaning up of all my cutleries and crockeries, and the arranging of my foodstuff in the cupboards, and the sorting of my papers and books and...I'm sure there's more.)

Sexy voice and athletic nose.

What a horrible way to be spending the holidays, moreover the remaining week of the holidays. Friends are either in Malaysia, or in Sydney, or in Adelaide, or in Melbourne, or planning a wonderful ski trip, while I lie at home, under my covers, running to the sink every few minutes to be clearing up my athletic nose from mucus.

The sexy voice isn't all that great. Aches every time I talk, plus the athletic nose interferes with its sexiness, making it sound all nasal-ie, taking away all of the sexy factors.

Sigh, so much for all my shopping plans, and my visit Canberra plans. Now my plans are sleeping, sleeping, and oh let's see, sleeping.

Disclaimer.

I must mention this.

If anyone reads my Home posts and is offended in any way, I apologise. They are all my own thoughts and opinions, and if you happen to be talked bad about by me, it's how I think la.

People disappoint each other some time, and you happen to have disappointed me then. If I disappoint you at any time, let me know and I'll apologise and try to rectify my actions.

Otherwise, deal with it! =P

Home Part Two.

I forgot to previously mention the royal treatment I was getting from MASCA VIC. I wanted a change of lanyard colour, and they eagerly let me choose anything I wanted, Hazwan even offered to give me every colour. And should I have anything to ask, and had to wait for 2 minutes to be served, I had the P and VP running up to me to ask if there was anything they could do to help. Life felt good to be intimidating then. I had powers to do anything I want and I could have any whim of mine easily satisfied. It was really fun.

Right, so down to day three. Day of netball.

Well, they told us the day before that the games was supposed to start at 830am, so we decided to meet up at 8am at the sports hall to warm up and do some last minute training. When we got there, there were already some other teams there doing their thing.

First complaint, we had no idea where to go and had to ask the Sports Hall people. When we got to the hall, Hillyah and I noticed that the courts were set up for basketball. So we started looking around for the person-in-charge to ask. Couldn't find one. So we headed down to ask the Sports Hall people.

The guy there told us we had to set it up on our own, and we were like, we don't study here and have zilch idea what to do. Maybe we looked lost enough, so he was kind enough to offer to help us set it up.

So yes, ACT people were the only ones smart enough to get a netball court set up for a netball match. So after that, we still found no one who we could turn to. So I made use of my position as the great intimidating Xin Yi and called the P to complain. He said he'll get someone to be there as soon as possible. By then it was 840am and no one from MASCA VIC was to be seen. Tak nampak sebatang hidung pun. So super disorganised la. (If disorganised is the right word, unorganised? inorganised? well, basically not organised.)

At bout 850am a person showed up and told us the games will start at 9am. Apparently, the entire committee woke up late that morning. How totally responsible.

So yes by 9am, games started off, and then there was a problem with the scoresheet. It was totally hard to understand la! So I did my thing again. I took the entire scoresheet, turned it around, and wrote my own.

And during the games that we played, I suffered 3 head injuries, one of which apparently bled (according to Hana Mai), but tiny bleeding la. But it was a loud hit. Cause I jumped up to catch the ball and got knocked over from behind and fell straight down backwards, head hit the floor real hard on the back, the sound of the hit apparently heard by the entire hall. I also fell 3 times and badly injured my knee.

Oh this leads me to another complaint, there was ZERO first aid service. I was self-proclaimed first aider for ACT as it is, but it turned out I was first aider for the NCG as well. Silly doofuses.

And then I also had to mop the floor. I'm pretty multi-purpose you know. You see, someone spilled some water on the floor and I nearly fell and sprained my ankle. The girl who spilled it was silly enough to not tell anyone about it and MASCA VIC was ignorant enough bout it. So I myself had to go to the Sports Hall people and ask for cloth or mop and a warning sign. They managed to provide me with some cloth and a mop, so I had to self-service la, since no one seemed to be taking any action.

Well anyway, we were last place for netball. Not a really huge surprise, though we expected a lot better.

And then there was volleyball and sometime during the game, I tripped over Miss Tan and fell again, backwards again. I whacked her eye in the process and had a bunch of people running to me to see if we were okay. Eri so cute and asked me "How come you keep falling down?". Well, I guess I love the floor. Hahahaha...

And then because I was cheering for volleyball, I ran out of time to go home to take a bath and change for the AGM. I missed dinner that night and attended a very boring AGM.

During the AGM, I was shown how powerful I was when I got nominated for a position for MASCA National by Hazwan and I was seconded by some other person from another state (I think). Wow. I think I was the first ACT person to be in MASCA National.

But I kindly rejected it and gave some lame excuse bout next year being my final year and wanting to concentrate on studies. Just didn't want to be in MASCA National la. Too much work. By the end of the AGM I was glad I didn't accept it. Cause the next year's committee had some people who didn't look very capable and also cause I'm not the biggest fan of the NSW people and MASCA National is made up of mostly NSW people.

But the knowledge that people wanted me in the committee was flattering. Haha. When I rejected, I could actually hear the entire room going "Awwwww....". Hilariousness.

So yes, I walked home alone that night, tired and hungry.

Next day, badminton. This time, at least there was Anthea there to take care of things. I'm thinking she's probably the most reliable one of them all. So badminton was all going fine. Until there was a glitch. Apparently the hall was booked from 10-11 and Anthea didn't know bout it cause of miscommunication. So we had to vacate the place for an hour before resuming. Poor Anthea seemed sooo apologetic and stressed out about the glitch and we all felt so bad for her and we were telling her that it was really okay and we would gladly wait.

And so we played our badminton, while in the next hall, basketball was going on. At the end of the day, I think we were trashed for every game in basketball, but we didn't do too badly for our badminton. We had a medal for every event except Ladies Singles. Ladies Doubles we got 3rd, Men Singles 3rd, Mens Doubles 3rd and Mixed Doubles 2nd. We were all so happy that we all won a medal, but turns out none of us did cause the event was grouped as a team event, and our overall points didn't get us anywhere. Stupid.

During the badminton game, Miss Tan and I made some friends with some Queenslanders, namely Donna and Dila. I actually knew Dila from 2 years back as I've been playing netball with her in the past 2 years' NCG. So when we weren't playing, we were supporting them. And they us. We also made friends with Sze Ching and Ming (from Victoria and NSW), who were volunteers for NCG, who helped out with the umpiring, scorekeeping and timekeeping of netball and badminton.

That night, we had Malaysian Night, which turned out better than expected. I could see MASCA VIC put a lot of effort into that night. But at the start of that night, I was failed by my own ACT committee. Hong Yin held the tickets and she was late. So I had more than half the ACT contingent awaiting her arrival as none of us could get in without the tickets. I told Kelly to get her to pass it to me earlier that day, but Kelly assured me they'll be there earlier as they'll be taking a cab. As it turns out, my feet were faster.

But she got there la, and then the tickets were distributed, in a reaaally messy way. Then I took over and just ushered people in first, to get the crowd out of the way. And then when I finally managed to get in, I didn't like the table I was sitting on. Maklumlah, I'm not exactly closest to the rest of the committee. I was pretty much the odd one out. And then on the table, I was more than the odd one out. It was pretty much a couples table, except for Phoebe, Ai Lin, Eu Jern and I. There was Kelly and Beng, Chern and Pui Ling and Rach and Alvin. All happily coupled, hands on each other, being couply la.

And even better I got a great seat! With my back to the stage. And so I complained la. And Phoebe, who was next to me, said ya la, bad seats cause we got there late. And I was like, "Hello! I got there late cause I was busy giving out people their tickets?". I was actually doing a job and my duty as a committee member la! And my repayment was a great view of couples and none of the stage. Seriously, I felt very unappreciated then.

But forget that, the rest of the night was fun. Hazwan wanted a picture with 'the great Xin Yi'. So did Rafiq (another MASCA VIC committee member). =) And then Phoebe, Ai Lin, Kelly, Sze Huey and I camwhored a whole load. And there was great food and great dessert (very very very very very rich chocolate mousse) and there was dancing. Disco ball dancing on dancefloor dancing.

And I went home that night high from the mousse. I was screaming on the roads and I frightened Grace and Pei Hua with my sugar high. When I reached home, Ter Lee and Miss Tan were spared as I recovered from the sugar and was just tired. So I just packed then went to bed.

Last day, I woke up to a whole load of phone calls, and then wasted some time not wanting to wake up. Then wanted to have Nasi Lemak for breakfast. Walked all the way to Lazzat (where there was 10% discount) but it wasn't open till 11 (and it was about 1050) but I had to get back cause I had a train to catch at 12. So I didn't get my Nasi Lemak, nor did I get my Freddo's. I settled for a Boost Juice and a Boost wrap. Found my way to the train station, was nearly late for the train and got all worked up cause the rest of the people travelling back with me wasn't there yet.

They all arrived just in the nick of time, as in 2 minutes before the train leaves. Maha came up the train with a package of stuff (Graduan books to be exact) and said Chern told me to pass this to you. And I was like HAAAA???? And thus my P did his thing again. Thrown me stuff without letting me know beforehand. As if it wasn't enough, later Abel passed me the MASCA phone with the list and stuff. "Chern told me to pass these to you." After the Maha episode, that didn't surprise me as much anymore.

Well, I'm going to make use of the phone and use up the remaining credit. Don't care la if I'm meant to do it, I'm just going to.

The remaining of the journey was again an uneventful 8 hours. Slept most of the way. Really nothing much else to do on a train or a bus.

Reached back and had Ah Boy waiting there for me with a trolley, then Chia Pei said she'd come and bring us out for dinner. Went for dinner, got back home, threw all my luggage on the floor, and went to sleep.

And that ends my very interesting Melbourne trip, of which none of Melbourne was enjoyed except for the egg tart.

Thank you for managing to keep reading till here. Now you know nearly everything about my trip. Yay.

And like my MSN personal message says: Activating hibernate.

Toodles.

Home.

After the many tiring days of sports and making sure things are right with the ACT contingent, I'm finally off duty and home free. Now I'm able to sleep late and be obligation-free. No more people to call me regarding train tickets, no more people to call me regarding registration, no more people to call me regarding times of sports, no more people to call me regarding times of events. Sometimes I feel like I'm acting-VP of the committee, rather than just a plain treasurer.

Well, anyway, enough of complaints, I shall now enlighten you with what happened during my very eventful MASCA trip to Melbourne.

Now, on the first day, I already had a negative outlook on the entire trip. For one, I woke up late. I was supposed to be at the bus station at 7.20am, but I woke up at 7.10am with a bunch of things left undone. I had to run to the bakery to get the foods that I ordered, and I had things to print. Not being able to print, I just ran the life of me to the bakery, grabbed the food and ran all the way back.

Got back home, grabbed everything and ran to the bus station, where I was late for the gathering but luckily still on time for the bus. Then we had a late person, who the bus driver waited an 5 extra minutes for him to get there, which he didn't. So, we had to leave without him. He told us he'd find a way to get there. (By the next day, he told us that he was too lazy and ended up not showing up at all.)

Travelled the very long journey to Melbourne, 8 hours in total, 4 on bus and another 4 on train. Got some rest, though not much.

Got to Melbourne, found my way to my backpackers, where a great surprise awaited me. I booked the 4 bed dorm, and lucky me, there were already 2 people in my room. 2 people who were a couple to be exact. Not that I have anything against couples, but this was one heck of a bad one. Well, for one, they're sexually active. I have no say in their sex life, so I shall leave that at that. But the female actually had the nerve to give me a curfew!

Before Ter Lee and I left, to meet up with Kelly and the rest for dinner, she asked us "Erm, will you be back late tonight?", and so I said, "I don't really know.". She then proceeded to say "Oh, because we plan to sleep by 9 tonight and I was hoping you won't turn on the lights when you get back cause we have to wake up at 5 tomorrow.".

I smiled and reply "I'll try.", but I was thinking "Wah lao, who are you to tell me what to do! It's a shared room so deal with it la."

So we left for dinner, then later that night, I found out Miss Tan had a whole apartment to herself, and I asked her if I could move in with her, and she said "Sure!" and I said "Yay!". So for the rest of my trip, I stayed with her, away from sexually-active-curfew-giving couple. I paid for my backpackers though, I didn't get a refund though I lied about my having to return to Canberra the next night. Blah.

That night we went to Crown Casino, and there was this Greek shop Greco which seemed to have a lot of customers buying their desserts, so I joined in the rush and bought myself a Kataifie. It's some meehoon pastry on top of lots of nuts, drenched with honey. Totally sweet, totally high, totally interesting, totally expensive, totally never going to eat it again.

Throughout that first day, I also saw a fist fight, 2 police cars, an ambulance, 2 fire engines, drunk people running away from police, gangsters also running away from police and got screamed by a drunk while walking on the roads.

And that's it for day one. Very eventful for a very short period of time.

Day two. Even better! I spent the morning walking around Chinatown, seeing as I had free time till registration at 1230pm. Had yummy egg tart and yummy brunch/lunch. Then I headed to St Mary's College where I was to register for my NCG.

Here's the nice part. But before I tell the story, I need to tell of something I did in the past. You see, previously I sent a 'hate' mail to MASCA Victoria complaining about their indecisive ways of dealing with the NCG. They couldn't decide on a price to be charging us and me being the liaison between MASCA and the participants had to endure the updating each and every participant of new changes and had to endure their complaints about the constant changes. Of course, the mail was strongly influenced by my very dear roommate who was equally as frustrated. So you see, because of this mail, I was very very famous with the entire MASCA Victoria committee.

So, before I even signed up, I was famous. I was in the line to register and I had the President and the Vice walk up to me and saying "So you're Xin Yi! Very honoured to finally meet you!". And then other committee members could be heard hushing "So she's Xin Yi! That's Tan Xin Yi!". (For a very brief moment, I felt like a celeb.)

So then I registered and I also expressed interest in the tour that they had planned. Turns out their tour was a complete failure. For one, they had nothing planned, and the tour guides knew nothing. Another, no one else, like really NO ONE ELSE, was even remotely interested. Miss Tan and I ended up being the only ones nice enough to humour them by going. But haha, the Vice (Hazwan) told his tour guides before we left to "Make sure she's satisfied.". I heard it and found it totally hilarious.

Well the verdict was that I wasn't satisfied la, cause they knew nothing, and I felt like I was more of the guide, cause I knew a bit as I went last year and walked around a bit.

And then as usual, my P destroys my day, he makes me do his work, cause he wants to go kai kai with girlfriend, but too bad I went for the tour, so I had a valid excuse to escape from the job.

That night we had dinner, which was okaaayyy la. And then we had a briefing which was started off with a "Everything in the programme booklet that we have given you is wrong." How dumb right.

That night was pretty much uneventful from then.

I shall spare you from so much to read and tell more stories about the remaining two days in another post.
