The writer's mood was angry.He uses metaphors like "unruly hounds" to describe how he wanted the lesson to end.It shows that he was really irritated by the boring lesson and wanted to go home badly.He also uses the metaphor "sick". The writer was not actually sick but used it to describe how the lesson can harm him, displaying how angry he was to the lesson. He even used alliteration like "take the toll"to descibe the lesson which sounds like a punishment

This is a shocking news! for the first user. Entering the facebook and posting pictures will means that the photo will be shown to her friend, her friend's friend and soon be all over the world wiil be able to see the picture. I think that facebook has not done anything wrong. for the second person, the problem is also the same. Personally, i think that facebook could do a lot of things. You could upload photo, video, and other fun stuffs. You could also be connected with people with other countries even when you are worlds apart, you are capable to be connected with other people. Most of the facebook games and applications need a huge number of friends wh0 play the game also. Which means that you can make more friends and have more fun. So personally, facebook is a place of fun only if you use it properly. Personally, i have a friend who use it for commercial purpose. She never speaks and talks to people. But other than that, facebook is almost perfect! People can be more friendly. IF you are a shy person, you can make friend without even meeting anyone! But beware because that there are some people who war evil.

my favourite food

I want to write my favourite food! my favourit food is mixed vegetable rice. It is very convinence. You can just order the dish you wish to have and the vender will give you a quantaty that you need for a meal. I always have three differene dishes that i like. I think that it is very nice as you got to have your favourite food without buying a huge quantity of it and does not need to buy so much dishes just for one meal. and it is cheap and convience to bring home. You can have all the vitamins and protien your body need. If you want to lose weight, you can have three different vegetables. If you want to have a fuller meal, you could have some heavy meal. whatever you want, whatever you wish for, this mixed vegetable rice can grant you.

My another favourite food is noodle. No matter what kind of noodle. I personally thinks that all noodle are nice because of its soup. The noodle i love the most is the one and only instant noodle. Thought the fact that it is unhealthy, it is very easy to make and again, convience.

If you would ask me what vegetable i love the most, it will be kimchi. Kimchi is better than all the food i ate ! The encounter with Kimchi happened when my friend kim yao, told me that his nickname was kimchi. At first, i thought that kim yao is korean and thus decided to try Kim chi.

E-learning Wendesday

Today, we had e-learning. I don't know i shall love it or not.The reason i should love it is that it is fan and i got to use my comoputer all the time, you did not need to sit in the stuffy classroom and can sit in the cool room of yours. You can even on facebook to use the application every now and then! I've know many friends who like e-learning. Like our very own chairman, who loves to play mouse hunt and robinhood would love to have e-learning. And my dear classmate guan hao would love to play his mouse hunt, mafia wars and street racing very much. Even wei xiang will be glad to play his facebook games. I also think that E-learning is very fun as there is not teacher but only yourself. However, there are also things that are not so... ... good.

For example, there is no more jokes made by kim yao or galvin as they are not around and staying by yourself can be really boring. Having home learning also means that you could not have a chance to ask your questions to teachers, you actually can but it will be very slow as it would take some time for you to post it and to reply it. It also means that you need to type a lot. Everyone in the class will like it a lot but not me as i hate to type. I thinks that my typing would be the slowest. Futhermore, i am using an in-line keyboard as there is something wrong with my keyboard. It is very troublesome. In conclusion, i think that e-learning have its good and bad. And for my personal opinion, i would prefer learning in classroom than in my own room!

E-learning Day 2

The poet i chose is Philip Booth.Philip Boothe born in Hanover, Now Hampshire,on October 8,1925.He wrote several poems like Letter from a Distant Land (1957),The Islanders (1961),Weathers and Edges (1966),Margins (1970),Available Light (1976),Before Sleep (1980),Relations: Selected Poems 1950-1985 (1986),Selves (1990),Pairs (1994)

and Lifelines: Selected Poems, 1950-1999 (1999).

The reason why i like this poet is that his poems are not too hard to understand,compared to the other poets or writers.The three works that i like is the folloing.

I like this poem because of it's unique way of writing,the poem repeats important words and made them stood up infont of other words,making their meaning more clear and easy to understand.It als o had a wonderful meaning.

The second of the poem is :Nightsong

i like this poem is because of its length.The poet soldem write short poems,as you could see from the first of the three poems.The poem also uses a lot of nouns,which excite the reader.(or just me)

The last of the three poems is : How to See Deer

i like this poem because just sound good to me.it seems to be telling a story but not as naggy as the writers are.The narritive words are also wonderful

So early it's still almost dark out.
I'm near the window with coffee,
and the usual early morning stuff
that passes for thought.

When I see the boy and his friend
walking up the road
to deliver the newspaper.

They wear caps and sweaters,
and one boy has a bag over his shoulder.
They are so happy
they aren't saying anything, these boys.

I think if they could, they would take
each other's arm.
It's early in the morning,
and they are doing this thing together.

They come on, slowly.
The sky is taking on light,
though the moon still hangs pale over the water.

Such beauty that for a minute
death and ambition, even love,
doesn't enter into this.

Happiness. It comes on
unexpectedly. And goes beyond, really,
any early morning talk about it.

The reason why i like this poem is because the writer uses the morning which is indeed a very happy time of the day as the sun had just rose and you have plenty of time to do your things.The Figurative words or phrase used is also very beautiful.Especially the last and the last second parts.The description was wonderful and nice.The storyline also tells a tale that always happens in my home town china.The story also have happiness from different people.Like the boy is happy because he will be getting money after deliver the newspaper,his friend happy to be with his friend and the writer happy because of the moring sky,sun and the setting moon.And the conclusion is perfect
