Fatigue.

Has finally caught up with me!

Despite having returned to school for almost a month, I haven't quite gotten into the swing of things yet. I'm still pretty much stuck in the whole summer-holiday mood (Jenn Wei can vouch for that - I've been having copious amounts of sleep, it scares me). For one, I haven't exactly been able to adjust my biological clock back to normal sleep hours (ie. pre-summer: in bed by 11pm latest, awake by 7am) hence explaining why I've been extremely exhausted these days at school. Suffice to say, the travelling alone is enough to kill. Plus, having to sit in for tutorials at 830am is not exactly my idea of fun!

Saturday afternoon was spent with Ann in town! We had a good japanese lunch; a futile photo sesh at the toilet (more on that later!); and a fruitful shopping experience. We were being such bitches and laughing half the time at our own jokes. Some snippets:

Ann, "Hey lets take mirror shots! But those ah lians are blocking the mirror!"

(A bunch of juvenile ahlians95 or something were dominating the entire full length mirror poking their bloody cheeks and enlarging their blue-eyeshadow-laiden eyes)

Debra, "These ah lians seriously need to move away from the mirror and make way for the hotter girls already (Rollzxxx eyEzx)"

Ann, "Omg ya man, what an eye sore! (RolLzx EyeZx Part II)"

On our futile shopping trip:

Debra (to the sales girl), "Hi! Can we try these clothes?"

Sales girl (curtly), "Ermzz NO" (Ermzz with a Z for crying out loud)

Debra (turns to Ann, and rolls eyes), "BITCH."

Hello its goooood to be back! After much deliberation, I've decided to re-activate this blog! And no, I can't be religiously posting up backdated photos (Facebook people facebook!) because I am, admittedly, way too lazy to picassa or hello the phots nicely into pretty collages like I used to do! Haven't got the luxury of time as well! Neither are you gonna expect whimsical little vignettes of my life here! But for those who are still loitering on this site (frankly, you must be damn free cause this blog has become dilapidated for the longest time), the contents' gonna be purely emotional thrash on my end - so; there I've warned you already!

Been feeling a little down and out lately. Firstly, everyone's gone home. We had a good 3 month holiday with Alexis; but she's left for the states already. Can I just cry! We spent practically our whole summer holidays together! I suck at goodbyes, I really do :[

Speaking of summer, I've never partied so hard in my life before (I am extremely amazed at how much energy I actually have!). For instance, I'd give up hours of precious sleep just to look like a complete raving retard at Mambo with my girlfriends (not that im complaining, I love it!). And each time, I'd tank up on at least 3 beers/housepours. But all that pretty much paid off when I got priviledged on the (get this!) last bloody mambo of the season. What kind of luck is that, I have no idea!

In the past 3 months; I've been faced with many disappointments as well. I guess hanging out with someone for too long has its implications as well. You get to see multi-dimensional aspects both good and bad. And then you get amazed by how ungrateful people are / how immoral / how selfish / how oblivious - everything. Well here's the nub - there's just so much that I can tolerate; and sad to say, you've crossed the line this time. And I'm not just talking one person here. I never dreamed I'd become so averse to people of your kind, honestly.

I'm being extremely docile and implicit here - nothing specific nothing hurtful. Haha, if you felt a tinge of guilt there or an inkling that it could be you I was referring to, its probably you :]

I've got new school resolutions! And not to forget, resolutions to try to keep the weight off and, of course, the SPENDING down! SHOPPING - my biggest weakness and the greatest funnel for my allowance/pay/salary/disposable income :[

I look back 2 entries and I see blissed-out - something I haven't exactly been completely familiar with this past 3 months! Time to keep the happy thoughts surfacing, Debra! I'm working on that! For one, I've allowed Amy Winehouse's Rehab to be on replay mode the whole morning and that made me happy for awhile :]

I need a Mambo Rehab - haha like seriously!

First & foremost! Happy 35th anniversary Yeo Jenn Wei! We're almost hitting the big THREE! But hey, it seriously feels like we've been together for a much longer time than that! That's probably because we've been friends since we were 14-year old Junction 8 Juveniles! So, technically, we've known each other for SEVEN YEARS already!

Congrats dear! I know you're happy stop pretending.



I logged onto friendster about a minute ago, and something really funny happened. A friend of mine whom I've never contacted in 787237 years messaged me! "Oh my gosh Debra. I didn't know you are dating a 17 year old guy! I just saw his profile! 4 years difference - wah respect respect!" I was like whaaadaaafaarrrk! Until I finally understood where he was coming from - wa-ha-ha! This friend of mine knows I'm dating a fella called JENN Wei; I've told him before that Jenn Wei's from Maris Stella; but he's never met Jenn Wei before! So recently when we went to check my friendster for a JENN Wei - he chanced upon Jenn Wei's little brother instead, JENN Hao! And this joker thought JENN Hao was my boyf cause he clicked on "JENN" and he saw Maris Stella and he saw SEVENTEEN years old. Like Wah Raoozx! As if I don't feel PAEDOPHILIC enough! (Oh, for the record, I consider myself a paedophile cause Jennwei's a month younger than me) Oh and besides, Jennhao's not 17. He recently turned 15 a few days ago! I've seen him grow up from a Primary 6 year old nugget to a Secondary 3 boy! Oh, so you're saying we went sTeaDyXx when he was Primary 6 and I was JC 2? RIDDICULOUS!

After today's interview at MOF, I was beyond exhausted. Met Aunt Anna for lunch and some shopping. And headed home for a 5 hour nap (now that's what I call a POWER NAP)! I just woke up awhile ago for dinner with my family and now I feel sleepy again! I ought to be shot for being so sluggish!

Tuesday

I say, can life get any better than this? Eleven consecutive days spent with Jennwei; eleven consecutive days not touching any school shit (or getting any work done for that matter); ELEVEN DAYS of pure decadence and bliss! Of course, like all other good things in life, it all comes to an end. Starting tomorrow, all that fun's gonna come to a standstill - and it's going to feel weird I swear. School work's taken a backseat for now - and here's what I've been up to!

Friday - VEGAS NIGHT! At SMU. Followed by Jennwei's post-POP party at the Cathay where we watched NORBIT! After the movie and Vegas night ended, we met up with the Cheryls, Poh, Rolyn & Denise for drinks at Timbre - only to realise we had to wait for seats! Thank God for Graham at Alley Bar - we squeezed into Poh's car and spent the rest of the night indulging in Beer & Fries. Cabbed back with Denise!

Saturday - Jennwei & I went shopping! And after mass, I headed down to meet Ann for coffee! Ann Chow! I had so much fun laughing talking and basically catching up with u, it was really enjoyable as it always is with u. Love u Ann :]

Sunday- Jennwei & I wanted to go to oneRochester for breakfast -but that didn't materialise, cause we both couldn't wake up. Haha! So my parents brought us along for lunch at the famous Hougang Gu Bak Kway Teow Coffeeshop. The rest of our Sunday was spent with Andrea and Keane at Jennwei's farm! And this, everybody... is the latest addition to Jennwei's fish farm:

The SNAPPING ALLIGATOR TURTLE

I've read about it all my life - but I've never seen the monster before! You should've seen the amount of wire it snapped off - its amazing how much destruction this turtle can cause.

In the evening, we watched JUST FOLLOW LAW - which was in my humble opinion, plain silly and slapstick!

MONDAY - Jennwei booked in this morning only to find out that his course actually starts on Wednesday! Haha! So he was out by lunch. We were talking for months on end how much we were craving for the Sukiyaki at Sun with Moon, and so when he suggested having dinner there, I was as keen as a button! :]
Oh and, my interview at the Accountant's General Dept MOF is on Thursday, people! Pray for me! Gotta get down to preparing for the interview really soon! Meanwhile, I'm off to savour whatever's left of today! Meeting Jennwei for dinner & drinks at Morton's; and supper with the Bimbs at night. Come tomorrow, Jennwei will be back in camp; Ann & Angeline back in HK - and I'd be back in my room clearing all my backlog and preparing for Thursday's interview! LOVE.
