I 0.0 at the second one. Computing? Well, though I like IT, I decided that I do not like it too in depth. And I only put it because IT is my other interest and I don't know what else to put.

And I later realised that the reason I'm kicked out of Business Admin is because me GPA is 0.02 away from the last year's COP. zzZZzz.

Life isn't been exactly great for me lately.

I don't know what I really want, except living in my own world.

Please tell me how to get a life so that I can get out of my no life life.

The old Compaq of 6 years retired "glamorously" (more if it didn't had a fit over my numerous attempts to get it start properly). The seller throw in a Mcafee antivirus CD (for dunno how long) for 3 computers and a webcam worth $29.

Screen is 20"... and it looks huge. Now a lot of white spaces in my browser when I surf the net.

<333 the wireless mouse and keyboard. Saves me from messy cables. And the CPU is like half the traditional ones.

I seriously still not used to Windows 7 even though I already experienced it with my netbook. I want the plain old My Documents back! }:(

Was late when I assembled it. Maybe tmr I'll explore more. =)

I have no life.

Should be doing other things now.

The tagboard's a bit off. Not sure why, and I am lazy to go cbox and get a new code.

I realised another similarity between me and dad:

Likes to tell things in story format and have the tendency to repeat from time to time.

As much as I quite dislike and frustrated with the use of Joomla with my FYP, a content management system software, it's nonetheless a pretty impressive piece of work produced by the developing team. My experience wasn't very good with it, largely due to lack of support and documentation. Therefore, it (just) occur to me that I should probably start a place for beginners/noobs like me.

Though there are many sites that provide tutorials, I am thinking of making it slightly different by providing tutorials on the selected extensions (add-on features) of Joomla as well since it makes a big part for those who create a website with it (and where I run into most of the problems).

Hope I will really have the drive to make it happen! My idea is as follows:

To create a free Joomla! tutorial site powered with step-by-step (with pictures) guides to use Joomla! and its (selected) extensions. The explanation is to be as layman as possible.

Users can:

• Submit their own guides (and published by admins if they deemed suitable)
• Submit tips and tricks for using Joomla!
• Submit useful site links and resources
• Exchange ideas and pointers in forum

Basically not for profit. Extra revenue can be gained through advertisements. Donations may be accepted.

Just realised that I have been downloading quite a few freeware apps lately.

Some of them are really great - true lah, they dun have all the fabulous neat features of those paid ones, but for a FOC application to have such standards, it is really good for a basic purpose.

Kudos to those developers who came up with those gr8 stuffs and so generously distribute it free of charge.

Ps: I WANT TO PLAY ON MY WII MORE. ITS GATHERING DUST SINCE DUNNO WHEN.

Tentative Plans/Activities to Undertake after Exams
which I dunno will succeed a not

1. Play lotsa my fave games
2. Meet up with old friends
3. Exercise more on my wii
   
4. Evacuate room and repack everything I possess
5. Change blogskin
   
6. Clean entire room including behind the furniture [to check for any buggies]
7. Clear email accounts of unwanted mails
   
8. Reformat my computer
9. Reorganise my files in my external harddisks and thumbdrive
   
10. Reorganise my files/work generated by 3 years of Polytechnic education
11. Reorganise my song list according to my preferred naming and arrangement format [90% are English and Chinese, btw]
12. Conceptualize on a possible IT project as a hobby project [Own target own time kind]

I think most of it will not be realised, even abandoned before I start...
Let's hope I will have the determination to fulfill most of it when I am done with my school responsibilities before I embark on another one (refer to Personality point 13 in previous post).

An Analysis of Myself

Just come to realise recently on what (genes) my parents have given me that makes me what I am today.

Looks:
1) I got my dad's nose.
2) I got my mom's single-double eyelids.
(or was it single-single in her case? she claimed hers turned doubles afterwards anyway.)
3) I got my mom's small eyes. (smaller, in fact =[ )
4) Dad's sweaty palms (which I hate most too).

Many said that I look like my mom anyways.

Personality:
1) I got both my parents' hot temper-ness (closer to dad's though).
2) Has a knack for losing things and cant find it until mom finds it easily later - dad
3) The inability to sign the same (or similar) way all the time - dad was opposite.
4) Impatient easily - dad

5) Procrastinate like no tomorrow - mother
6) Introvert - mom (but she is more extrovert than me now zz)
7) Planning for plans/trying to make decisions which are never realised or very long afterwards (long = months/years) - mom
8) Dislikes crowds like the both of them.

9) Like for old things (as in owned by self for a long time) - dad
10) Calculative in $, always look for better bargains (though not as pro as dad, sometimes i wish i can find a hole to rest when he does that zz).
11) Poor time management (worse when i was younger) - mom.
12) Emotional - mom
13) Do things san fen zhong re du - mom

Misc - not really got to do with genes
1) Accident and sick-prone like dad.
2) Injured left leg/ankle before - dad



So while I can look quite like my mother, my personality and other areas are pretty much like my dad. My mom keeps saying that they have indeed not brought the wrong kid home from hospital cos the personality of mine cant have gone wrong. zz.

Thanks to facebook, I am getting birthday wishes from some unexpected friends.

Actually, sometimes I think its a bit fake cos of the reminders and wall posts reflected on the news feed. But, the fact that some of them (i mean not so close friends) still make the effort to post their wishes on my wall is... well. I dunno how to say. I appreciate these gestures nonetheless. :D

Anyway, still a big thanks to all who vandalised on my fb wall, sent me smses and the gifts. Its been a quiet birthday this year, but I am perfectly fine with it with so many things going on lately. Enjoyment shall start after all these are over!

In 2 more weeks.

PS: It will really make my day if idol fed takes his 16th trophy in Aussie today. Now leading 6-3, 4-2 over the Briton.

But I wish I can give up now. Though I know I couldn't.

They say planning is important. But I am just so unsure what does the future holds for me.

And I always end up don't following plans.

So I don't plan. Ahead. Too much.

The only plan I have is to take a nice long rest after all this.

Am I stupid or what?

I gave up iPhone, twice.

Dunno leh, I just don't really feel like getting it.

But I am sick of my parents asking me every year.

Or maybe, I should take it next year.

duh.

PS: Not that we are rich, but my dad's corporate iphone plan is entitled to get $500 voucher every year so yeah, free iphone.
