My IE7 in my laptop is driving me crazy... It was ok at first but lately it is being extremely annoying. Shuts down (with error messages) frequently (think its because of facebook =x), slow/lag, and sometimes may need to open extra window in order for it to work (just like ant's).

The worst thing is I can't just uninstall it like last time, not after I upgraded it before updating my computer with Win XP SP3, which prevents it. (According to google, if I do the other way round then it won't matter... -.- But too late le.)

The ones that we wanted were not available in 3's. So we go for a super simple one instead... :(

Bought router too! Get it quite cheap @ Harvey Norman. Qad and the salesperson made it sound like really hard to set up and configure... But I got it done in like, 3 hours? (Qad told me her cousin-in-law with IT background took one week...) =x

Finding how to lock my network is what took me rrrrreally long... Looking up in the help topics make it worse. What need to check whether your devide is WEP or WPA for encryption, this and that, all techy stuffs I dunno. In the end... I (anyhow) found out that all these rubbish can be done by clicking a few buttons in the internet. All in less than 1 minute.

Spending the day doing massive updates for my laptop.
Long and laggy process. zz.

Not to mention the network tracking software I installed yesterday went crazy [from reccomendation from installing my new router]. Keeps shutting itself down. Otherwise, I think it's a fabulous software. Lets you send files between computers wirelessly and keep track who is in your network.

Worst scenario: unistall everything and don't use it.

And dunno why this laptop of mine has damn lots of hardware problems (maybe others happen not to be aware that they have them too). I just realise it hasn't been able to do windows update since 27 June. Some BITS thingy not working. And I have no idea what to do (the best -worst to me- solution is to reinstall windows again -.-).

But all of the sudden, it's working again after I upgraded to IE7. And hey, it has got 25 new updates for me!

ARGHHHH.

My dear mother, thinking that I am not using the modem (which is connected to the router) in the computer room, switched it off when I am in the midst of downloading something in my own bedroom. And I can't get back to the internet even after switching it back. This is one irksome problem our my irritating modem. Got to restart the computer to do the trick.

Finally repainted the house after my mom said it 2364250065 years ago.

Every room got back their respective old colours. Got a new colour for my room. But its the same as the living room one. -.- Better than nothing though.

Wish to see more vibrant colours in the house but, my parents are not the adventurous type. zz.
