Went to Comex IT show today with Li Xuan. Actually she was using me to help her check out which desktops are good. But my knowledge of a good desktop is as good as hers (and many others too) loh... Only know how to see processor, speed, RAM, storage etc. Number BIG BIG jiu hao. Video or graphic cards not too sure about them. =x
Bought my new external hard disk! Was the same one as LX bought at the last IT show, from Western Digital. Was torn between maxtor (slightly cheaper) and WD, but bought the latter instead cos of the vibrant colours. =x
But when I open it for the first time, got a lot files and folders inside (according to LX is like that). Damn annoying sight leh. My other one is clean de loh, nothing inside. Dunno can dump them into one folder a not...
Got a case too. Was suppose to be given free for those who purchase 320GB de. Dunno why the sales person gimme also. lol. Just take loh.
Yesterday watched the Super Matron show from Ch8, which offer help to damn untidy families to clean up their house. My mom always complain my room so messy not like a girl's room. But the show showed me (I hoped she saw too) otherwise. lols.

昨夜“鸟巢”在本届奥运会中二度遭同一道闪电击中。这道闪
电有些特别。他呈黄绿色。
8月16日
这道黄绿色的闪电，上一回出现。他划破了鸟巢内百米之径，
连尾随的狂风也唯有乞求能与其距离拉近一些...
不，这道闪电留下的唯一余地，是稍放慢速度。
放慢速度，为了能傲视天下。放慢速度，是他独有的权力。
9秒69。这道闪电首度狂袭鸟巢之后留下的唯一痕迹。
8月20日
同一道黄绿色的闪电。不同的意念。
鸟巢二度遭雷击。
这回，他怒劈两百米，威振天地。
他终于满足了。
烟消云散之后，鸟巢众生顿时之忆起19秒30的傲慢。
西方人的说法，幻灭于东方.

Yesterday, the "Bird Nest" was hit by the same lightning bolt for the second time. There is something special about this particular Bolt, though. It is yellowish-green.
August, 16 .
The last time he made his appearance, this yellow-green hit the stadium's 100m track. The rest who follows had no other options except wishing to be nearer to him by a bit...
But no, the only leeway he left was to slow down at the finishing line.
World record of 9 seconds 69. This is the only mark the lightning Bolt left at the stadium after he striked.
August, 20 .
The same yellow-green Bolt strikes the Bird Nest again. This time, at the 200m track.
He is finally satisfied. This time, he made everyone to remember only his world record of 19 seconds 30.
The East proves the West wrong about their saying.

Still feeling really down and bored, so decided to post up some overdued photos [can be as late as last year].
Nice sunset.
First time I played Carmon [is it how its spelt?] with the girls last year. I actually led this much to none to the other 3... Still remembered Liting asked, "Are you sure this is your first time playing???"
But Ant still won with one piece. She got the red one. -.-
The over 300 letters I folded in my first day of work. I counted them.
And everyday, we are 'shipped' into the office as...
or...
So the next time if I stink, you know the reason why.
I actually found this on my phone! I don't remember taking it... It was with the photos our class took while K-ing at Moberly. Looks like Joan from the picture, but no one seems to be wearing grey on that day! Creepy...

17 August 2008: A Day to be Remembered
1. Michael Phelps made history: To be the only Olympian to win 8 Golds in a single Game
2. Singapore won first ever Olympic Medal since the 1960s
Feeling very unmotivated now... No mood to study at all. Feeling too lazy to so anything else either.
Good thing I forced myself to study some chapters since last Friday or else... >:(
Wish the gloomy weather will go away... It is adding on to my already bad mood.

I want a new skin! But I can't find one I like.
It's been a slacky week. Managed to drag myself out to the opposite shops for some fresh (?) air. Went to the optician to have my eyes checked and make a new pair of spects. Found that my right eye seems to be more blurry than my left. No matter how many lens my optician fits in, it makes no much difference. She say I got the lazy eye. But the degree was somehow lower than my left.
Chose blue frame spects after numerous tries on different ones. Not exactly to my liking, but I hate to be seen as a fussy and hard to please person (which I actually am). Though that pair is not that bad also.
Also bought a new pair of bottom (insisted by my mom). For formal presentations. It is white and I don't really like it, but the sales lady (and she managed to psycho and my mother) insisted that young people should not wear dull dull colours.
Was suppose to pick both things up today (the bottom has to be altered) but due to the gloomy weather, I was too lazy to go out.
Studied the 2 easy chapters for accounting in the morning (while catching bits on the swimming events) and spend the rest of the day tellying, though nothing good was being telecasted about the Olympics. Just don't feel like studying. =x
I dunno what to do for the last 2 chapters, because I wasn't paying attention at all... How how how...?

Was reading the blog of a mediacorp reporter reporting from Beijing and I don't know to laugh or shake my head at the Engrish names of the dishes our friends in China have given...

I emailed myso-called resume to a few advertisements I picked out from online job sites and one one of them called back in less than 20 mins!
