Being 18 means...

• You now reach the 'legal age' set by the gaberment.


• You can watch M18 movies, when many movies are already NC16.


• You can buy cigarettes and alcoholic drinks legally.


• You can go clubbing without being fear getting kicked out of the pub.

But to me means...

• Getting sick. Lost my voice. Pathetic.
• Concultation fees at the polyclinic will increase if I go today.
• Most special prices/subsidy to students will cease to exist starting today.
• Being 18 does not stop you from studying for Java exam tmr.
• You are still (17) + 1 older. (18 sounds so old)

Any help is greatly appreciated for this.

For some reason, the burn function of the DVD-RAM drive on my laptop is gone. I tried google for solutions and found a couple, like edit your registry entries and stuffs. But my regedit don't have the entries stated. The simplest is uncheck (or check, can't rmb) a box in the recording tab in its properties screen, but there isn't one too.

This laptop is giving me lots of problem lah. It is less than a year ok? Last time the entire drive is missing, now it burn function gone. Dunno what is going to happen next. The whole thing go haywire? choy.

As it turns out, Matshita drives have the most problems I think. In google search there are quite a number of Matshita headings even though I din specify that in my search.

Hope its a registry problem. Or else I may have to bring it to Fujitsu there. sianns.

Some dumb version of The Amazing Race.

No more IDEA + No more GEMS = No lessons on next Wednesday. Only.

Had final GEM test yeasterday on probability. Felt so dead lah, cos I dont understand 90% of the questions. The only question I am confident in is the part about Mathematical Expectation. The rest of the answers more or less copied from friends. The teacher didnt quite care also, lol. Since its already an open book notes test.

SP Open house today. Some funny incident happened to me today when I went to school. Since morning lesson is no longer needed, Li Xuan and I met up for project discussion instead. I took the route to the convention centre where the open house was taking place. Then someone stopped and asked me, "Excuse me, have you just recently completed your O levels?"

I was like, "(0.0 =.= ><) Er, I am a student here". How could someone who was carrying a laptop and a heavy bag be coming to the open house? Wouldnt be too much a burden?

Funny lah. I know I don't look like poly student, but seriously. =x

MOB final test next week. Better start studying eh. So far only studied 1 chapter, 12 more to go. I hope I won't be glued here for too long.

(Mom actually lost my papers for recontract of the internet when it was just done last Sunday. Sometimes I dunno where she place her mind lately. -.-)

Somebody has been searching through my archive backwards a few days ago.

Sometimes people like to do some weirdo things. I don't see my life as a colourful one. At least, not these days.

It has been getting hotter the past week. And all of the sudden, cold winds started to break out again.

Abnormal.

Lowest temperature for today's only 23 degrees. OMG. Thats even lower than what I usually have when I turn on my air con.

But I prefer the air con leh. =x Cos I have control of how cold I want it. And not these natural winds.

Presentation first thing when morning arrives. Wish me luck. Gonna wear formal some more. -.- My first formal presentation alrights?

2008. I dunno what I want for the new year. Maybe another GPA 3.5 and above result slip so I can get the damn director's roll again? Nah, I don't think it will happen again. I dunno how I got it for Sem 1 in the first place. Everything feels so much like sheer luck.

Lady luck will have to save some of her powers for those who need it the next time. Not me.

Feeling hungry now. The lunch this afternoon eaten in the last afternoon on the last day of last year stuffed my stomach so much that since then except water and fruits I haven't eaten any proper meal.
