anyway, i sorta invented the term 'blogging frequency' myself. or at least i thought so.

i did a search on it in yahoo and it turns out there is really such a thing. but it seems to differ a bit lah. maybe i was just too lazy to read it up carefully. ><

enough of that crap.

anyway. i got a feeling that few people in SP's SB seems to be getting into the course of mine.

from what i've heard so far, they can either be in media and communication, accountancy, tourism, banking & fiances, etc, and no one [yet, i hope] in business IT. is it really a 'black horse' course in SP?

but the intake was 120 duh.

and i dunno why i do not feel excited or what finally getting my lappie back. in fact, i have no idea what to do with it apart from installing two mini games in it and ripping a disc's worth of music inside. what i've done so far is to play the mini games.

my mom reckons i have to ask my uncle c abt applying for wireless@sg [which is completely free of charge, duh]. right now it cannot surf the net because i have no wireless account despite it can be connected to the wireless network.

z. i'm not looking so forward to orientation. it feels weird to be quite alone. and come to think of it, i'm not pinning on high hopes on the 'high class food' that the grandmaster--> camp chief <-- they promised to serve us.

and definitely got wet games. but the prospect of hearing we might be getting into mud siann-ed me. i have too much experience with MUD in sec 3. i don't mind wet, but mud? no thanks. even though my face really need facial [not with mud though, thank you very the much].

maybe i may sneak home before the camp actually ends. well, my home really need me anyway, especially my dad. no one's gonna to do his quotations and agreements for him if i'm outta of the house. =\ my mom's already warned me she may pick me up in the middle of the camp if there's a need.

30/03's THREE trips to SP.

First trip to SP:
collect lap. den eat dao huay at the foodcourt [2] downstairs. went home by 105.

Second trip to SP:
went back after put lap at home. head for school of business foyer for freshman orientation camp (foc) briefing. had ice breaking games. got forfeited twice for reason snot my fault. the seniors dun care u got fault a not but will just round up whoever is beside the obvious forfeiter.

thought saw cheryl c. didnt realise until very long after that that she's in NP. but the girl's sideview a bit like her.

Third trip to SP:
found out that i have to go for post configuration in the room next to the sales office. no wonder they asked for password when i do not know what is it. BUT THEY DIDNT TELL ME TO GO FOR POST-CONFIG EITHER GRRRRRR. was raining heavily and the lap was damn heavy in the carrier bag (its the bag which's adding so much weight). the room was filled with many people queneing for post-config. cursed when i saw the words post configuration outside the room. after waiting for more than half an hour something hit me and i ask the staff a question.

me: 'i pre-ordered on monday and had my collection today. i upgrade to package B and does that mean that all the upgrades are already inside?' [the room also for upgradings]

(includes conversation on nobody tell me i need to go over that room blah­³ and got a shock when i went home realising i cant seem to log in)

staff felix: oooooh! so u pre-ordered on monday? that gives you the priority to do first! we will do it for you now ok? [i was like, grrrrr why you tell me only NOW?!]

and in the end i actually dun need to go de. cos everything is done for me in advance and another guy checked say there's no need for pw. just enter will do. -.- and he told me how to log in to use the school's wireless network.

THAT'S IT. after all the waiting. and i am sick. called my mom [she's at yishun] to go home together so she can help me carry my heavy lap. we decided to get a slimmer bag, like a folder, for it instead. so i dun have to carry the damn heavy bag. i mean, though its still lighter than the lap, it just add on to a lot of unnecessary weight. its killing my shoulders.

duh. my nose's still quite blocked. hope it gets better soon. z.

a little ranting on the reality show: the amazing race-all stars.

the show's back this time with participants from the previous races... anyway. just wanna talk about a really funny moment in the show. a team, who did a detour task of packing and delivering of coal arrives at the pit stop [destination] all filthy and one of them says playfully, "i wanna hug you phil [spreads arms]." and the host phil was going, "NOOOOOO........!!" and all three were running around the area [phil trying to dodge the filthy pair while the latter trying to get him in their arms] like kids.

omg.

and the stupid whining cousins actually came in first. always complaining. just because some other team played a little trick on them, they were like, "oh~~~, why did you trick us?" i mean, they shld noe how the game works, its all abt each trying to cheat or outwit the other. just blame on your bad luck. the other people are not complaining out loud like them.

la.

my uncle s has grown a lot indeed. horizontally. -.- his neck's a lot thicker than last time, so is his body width.

my aunt remains about the same as far as i can remember. nice, cheerful and funny.

yesterday she told me i ought to book an air ticket and go back with her this time to canada. maybe she's bored or what, cos her work contract just ended and she has all the time.

unfortunately the timing is just so right this time. the few days after when they're suppose to return is my orientation week, followed by school reopening. i told her i'd love to go and i had the intention all along [to go find them], but i really just couldnt make it this time.

nor do i think that my mom would be fan xin. not because of the trip to canada, but back from there [both of us recokon i have to come back by myself].

too bad. :(

and as for the lappie thingy, my uncle c offered to help me look which seems to be the better lap and he seemed enthu about it. 0.0 so i emailed him the brochures and let him fiddle around with, though i think i have more or less decided which one i might be getting.

well, what can i say? my two [younger] uncles are nice people. so are my aunts [their wives]. :)

i've been having multiple posts lately and i dont know why. it seems i have a lot to say. let's just say it will do good to the regular reader's eyes.

so anyway. my youngest uncle and aunt's back today, though i haven met him yet-there'll be loads of chances anyway. he just lives in the next neighbourhood and is bound to come over to my place all the time to borrow the computer for the internet.

their plane touched down at a freaking early of 12pm+, in the past i rmbed them arriving at early mornings/dead nights. so anyway my eldest uncle's fetching them. my dad's, though annoyed [he had a fend with the big bro], but just let-him-play-the-big-host sort of attitude since no one will be able to make it for such a timing (working hours).

i hope they bring me something! though my mom told them there isnt a need except that she'll need a money-printing machine.

anyway er zi [hw] was just telling me that her letter arrived and she had no idea what to do as she is blurred with the pile of forms. -.-

which, is normal, i told her cos i was like that when i received mine.

and boy, NP's really generous to start online registration only at 22 mar, which means they'll have plenty of time to get prepared, unlike us. we have to get things done by today when the letter arrived just 5 days ago.

my distant cousin in SP still hasnt get his forms or payment or checkup done. >< it was around 2.30pm when his mother called and asked what exactly has to be done cos she didnt noe her son has actually not done anything since the arrival of the letter at all.

everyone seems to be asking me what to do, what to do like i'll be their live saviour. -.- even those not from the same school as i [eg, hw].

i'm just glad that i've got everything done fast and early now that i have nothing to worry [unless there's some complications cropped up] i can just shake my legs and wait for the exhibition days of the lappies, orientation week and school reopening days to arrive. la.

NP students are so fortunate. they've got 3 years of warranty for their laps (only 1 year for us) and 4 brands to choose from (we have 2 brands and 4 models only)!

humph.

however, those courses in NP which needs Apple models laps (5 MODELS!), their prices seems pretty high (i cant compare as the other 3 brands as they are not available). the cheapest is around our most expensive. and its specifications seem only about the same, if not slightly better, from ours.

i didnt noe apple (mac) PCs are so ex. =x but i always prefer microsoft (windows) anyway.

maybe i shall ask the girls when they are going to buy their laps and i will tag along.

today went to standard chartered bank to pay for my school fees [semester 1].

the nearest branch is at somewhere near jurong sec. mom and i are not familiar with the area so we decided to take a taxi. the driver hardly drives in our area and he had to keep flipping the map for directions. =\

after that went to poly to clarify which piece of paper is the offer letter of doom. well, their instructions so unclear man, the bottom line 'please retain this slip for collection of student card' is so misleading. and the words 'offer letter' are not stamped anywhere on the paper. >< (they're suppose to return it to us for the collection.)

so shun bian send the stack of forms directly to the admissions office. THERE'S SUCH A LONG QUENE MAN. it seems that many people like me, are having problems registering the many info inside the enrolment letter.

as i was queneing up for my submission, there was a conversation of a bunch of guys behind me.

'what the hell is the offer letter, man?'
'i think its this one bah.'
'but it says retain this paper for student card collection.'
'oh really?'
'damn *P, last year's JAE come directly to school to submit de.'
'this is the first year they are using the mailing thing.'
'it seems that everyone's asking the same question.'

i was watching the show so simple hosted by the DJ pei fen.

its approach is kinda sweet and gentle, and teaches lots of DIY things. and there's sort of a storyline, a story abt pei fen's (fictional, of cos) life and love life.

and it has shown till the part where, not long after her new-born relationship, there were sudden changes in her bf's company and he's sent abroad to work, hence the end of the new-born love.

its very sad [to me at least, though its fictional]. :(

going to poly is troublesome (who ask me to choose this route anyway).>< you got to fill in a number of forms, do pre-enrolment online, get appointment date to make student card, bank in cash/cheque, send back the forms thru the return envolope, do medical check up, etc³.

so today went to SATA jurong to do my med check up, where a small bunch of poly students also doing their checks (a few going to SP as well, the forms they had are the same as mine). x-ray, urine test, eye check, height/weight measurement, consultation by doc...

unfortunately for me, i have a little problem with my checks and the doc wants me to gather the necessary info and send them back to the clinic as soon as i get them.

damn. i thought their coms linked with each other and the particulars can be accessed easily except some highly top secret confidential things like AIDS and STDs (as told by the Minister of Health).

and as i have said, (maybe not this part) im bit surprised that i'll be owning a notebook pc faster than i expected. SP actually made it compulsary for all new year 1 students to own a notebook (or izzit all polys also?). the price's 'lot cheaper and they are also giving you a bunch of free Microsoft softwares. i'm eyeing on one of the 2 fujitsu models (may also choose to upgrade the RAM-speed thingy), but i stumbled on a review that the value buy of fujitsu's perhaps not so good, cos the storage is smaller despite for its light weight. and acer, though not preferred, has a delicious storage of 120GB compared to fujitsu's 80GB (if im not wrong), and cheaper too.

my mom says the fujitsu models looked better. though we haven see the real thing yet.

i wonder if i shld ask my uncle [the one currently resides in canada] along to choose for me? he's coming back on fri, i wonder he'll be free to help me out.

if not for the complications for buying your own lappie from outside school, i might've asked him to buy me one from canada. perhaps it might be cheaper.

i above-estimated myself.

the only disappointment (yes, there is) is that most of my classmates who chose to go poly are going to ngee ann instead. sighs. though we (i and them) are not considered close, i have enjoyed being with them in the same class for the past 2 years. the laughter, the atmosphere.

well, the other day i bought the OST for goong [season 1], and to my dismay, i can't get the second disc out of the... thing. it's so tight. >< i'm 'fraid that any violent or forced action might just break it into 2 or more pieces.

and apparently, goong s aka prince who aka whatevertheyarecallednow does not seem to get as good responses as season 1. one of the lowest rating show i read. maybe some die-hard fans are boycotting it. or it's really just bad. or the storyline is never appealing. though there're still a group of die-hard fans for the show.

whatever the reason is, we cant really care much eh? cos i am not interested in the new cast and storyline at all [din even noe what's it really about]. they cant replace the original cast lah.

fingers still crossed till 2 days later.

anyway. i just got a pop-up [annoying advertisement] of osama and saddam [ex and deceased president of... iraq i think] faces in bikini girls. i hope the creator(s) doesn't get killed in their sleep or something.

the last few days have been as normal as it could be. except that i have the new sims open for business expansion to keep me accompany, which, duh, i keep losing money. >< actually i had that intention of let it lost some money first cos they [my sims] had too many money from my 'big money' cheat code, but apparently it just continue to lose more and i have to use my cheat code [small money this time] to top up some.

and i'm a bit amused to hear my mom say that i'm not as attached to my com as before. did i? maybe i did lossen a bit, but my obsession is still there.

and well, i guess my mood's getting steadily better, a good sign. or maybe its got to do with it... =x but it only comes once a month, and my foul mood has persist for months or so. =\

people keep telling me that with my score i shld be able to get into many courses easily, including those i want. i just hope they'll be right... i'm still keeping my fingers crossed till the release date of our JAE application results.

i hope there's really someone out there who could do something about my hair. it's getting no where better. someone, let's say, with skills like david gan or addy lee but the price of normal salons. ^^
